    I failed. So goodbye.

Hello. As you know from my previous blog post I gave myself a deadline: October. But with a week to go and my current progress, I decided to throw in the towel early. Therefore, I can officially label this account as dead. I won’t delete it, or any of the stories contained within, but I will no longer log into it again unless something exceptional happens.

    Fimfiction on Subscribestar

    Hello.

I don't usually comment on the site or anything other than my own writing really, but I just thought you should know that as a result of reporting, Fimfiction has been forced to migrate over to Subscribestar.

Update 23/08/2019, commission awareness and premature 400 followers celebration · 5:27pm Aug 23rd, 2019

Hi-ho! It's been a while since my last update. Five months in fact! For that, I apologise.

Firstly, while premature, I've almost at the big 4-0. For followers new and old, I appreciate sincerely your decision to follow me. Haven't a clue why :rainbowlaugh: but I appreciate it nonetheless! Now I don't really have anything planned for the milestone, and I wish I did but I haven't got a clue what I could do to celebrate the occasion. I suppose I could perhaps pen something significant, maybe a sequel to one of my old, popular stories. Some people have desperately wanted a sequel to The Zebra, others a sequel to Am I Confused or Unexpected Client. I might have a vote on which one of those three people would like to see...

Secondly, commissions! Yes, I do those now. I'll do anything you want me to (barring a few specific kinks) and I am rather cheap. My latest fic, which reached 11k words, was 75 bucks. I am rather fast and loose with my prices but at this point in time, I haven't charged 10 dollars every 1k words like some others. So if you would like to throw me some money to get right on with your fic, just send me a PM. Also, two additional details. First, I will not name you in the commission unless you specify otherwise. Second, I have not stopped doing free requests, but I'm putting them down on the priority list since I have a lot of ideas myself that I haven't pursued yet.

Thirdly, what am I up to? Well I am currently working on a request for fellow user Deergenerate a gay little thing involving Thorax and Spike. (Also, go give their page a view, they do good stories!) After that, I am going to focus all my efforts entirely on finishing Learning to Love. I know how to end it, and how to get to it, I just need to commit :moustache: Thereafter, I need to finish Snow and Sand, at which point sky's the limit! I have a Human in Equestria fic planned (featuring female protagonist) and a horror fic planned, which I think I should start working on in October (since it's appropriate.) I also have a Nightmare Rarity fic which I put on ice a while back written in the same vein as Twilight's Midnight Machinations. I also now have a source of income so I hope to commission several cover arts for fics, both new and old.

Fourth? Well, it's only the most important:
HAVE A GREAT DAY :raritywink:

Succumb to your temptation if you want :rainbowlaugh:

I am very glad to hear you're still working on Snow and Sand.

Yeah, it's the weirdest thing. I've known how to end it ever since I started writing it. I had it framed in mind since the beginning, but I think knowing how to end it birthed complacency, hence why it's taken me so long. I'm glad you're glad.

I am honestly just glad to hear that you are doing okay.

Keep up the great work Jack! :yay:
