Total Wasteland - New Episode! · 7:19pm Aug 22nd, 2019
Hello Total Wasteland fans!
Today we published the latest episode "Benefits of Doubting" which is Mal and Dash focused!
If you’re a fan of Fallout 4, you'll know the last DLC, NukaWorld was ill received due to its rushed content. I've always wanted to go and expand on some of it and now I can! I will eventually when the mod team I work on touches Nuka World!
This story focuses on Mal and flashes out his past for the viewer. It's to help make him more 3 dimensional as he’s a parallel for Kellogg in Fallout 4.
Kellogg himself being a parallel for the player character, I played with several ideas when writing up Mal and his backstory. I included his stint in Vault 76 because despite how awful the game was I enjoyed the environment.
That being said we will learn more about Mal and his 25 years underground later. I have at least one request to read about those times in already, so I'll prioritize as I can between EC and TW!
