New Story Soon and Updates · 10:30pm Aug 20th, 2019
Howdy, folks!
It hasn’t been very much time at all since the last writing thing of mine went online last week, and yet I have a new story almost ready to go! This one was fun to write. The idea for it sort of congealed all at once when I was going through some notes over what I wanted to write next, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Here’s a preview of the story page.
This one is almost all the way ready to go online, I’m even putting up the preview with completed cover art thanks to the timing on everything, it’s just going through final edits to smooth everything out. GDocs is telling me it’s at 17,680 words (adding yet more evidence to the fire that I have no idea how long stories are going to end up being until I write them), which will be going online all at once in the next day or two, depending on how long all those edits take. Next up, after starting again last week, I’m continuing the remaster of Coming Back with chapter 5. These remasters tend to be pretty simple writing, as while it’s almost entirely a rewrite from the ground up of actual prose and dialogue, I’m still working from the old version, which speeds up a lot of things. As such there probably won’t be a huge turnaround time between now and when it’s finished and ready to go online, barring any unforeseen circumstances. After that, I’m taking a slight pony break to edit the original fiction novel I finished a couple months ago, then I’ll be back to pony with something entirely different, probably.
In other news, today’s my birthday! I’m 33! Wheee … the grim reaper draws ever closer … wheee …
Anyway, off to work on finishing up those edits and diving into the next CB remaster. TTFN.

I tend to like drawing stuff for covers myself, but a lot of the time it feels like including a character is important from a "thumbnail" perspective. Maybe that reaction is bad and I should just draw stuff covers more, I dunno.
