There is a bit of truth to every legend, though the ravages of time can bury it deeply. One of Equestria’s oldest legends is the core of Nightmare Night. Yet, how much of the old legend is true, and how much is fiction?

Realize I haven't breathed a word about this, and that I'm generally silent on the blog side of Fimfiction as it is, but I'm attending Everfree Northwest this year!

    Glimpses 2 - Now Complete

Though it was a day late, hopefully, it's not a dollar short. I've posted the final chapter of Glimpses 2! I hope everyone enjoys the last chapter and enjoyed the story as I whole. I would also like to thank everyone that submitted suggestions to my blog about a month ago. The anthology would not have been nearly as interesting without your input!

Post-Printing Bookkeeping · 8:09pm Aug 17th, 2019

Just a little heads up that I'm going to try and start some post-book-printing bookkeeping I need to do. After all, a lot of typoes were fixed to make the stories that went into "The Life & Times of Nyx" and "Face The Dark" fit to print. Now I need to back-populate them to Fimfiction.net. Shouldn't be anything anyone really notices, unless you got a keen eye for grammar, but just wanted to give everyone a head's up.

Part of this also means that Sunset Slayer and Morsel of Truth are getting cover art upgrades! Their in-book illustrations were also made to be suitable as online cover art (in full color)! Isn't that fun?!

So yeah, just wanted to give everyone a heads up regarding that. Don't know how long it will take me, mostly because I don't know exactly how I want to go about it. Morsel of Truth will likely be my testbed for the process to see if I can find a way that doesn't involve me manually copying over the changes.

I still swear those typos breed in the margins, and only swim to the surface when dead tree versions get published. From the opening up of my first printed book to the discovery of the first typo was about ten seconds. Then thirty seconds to the next... and the next...

Just curious, were there manuscript fixes for the Ministry of Image printing of Past Sins? I have a second-edition copy and there's a fair few errors in it, including stuff like underlined text where there was a hyperlink in the original story.

The Ministry of Image prepared their printing on their own. For typoes like that, best to let them know about it directly. (Though the person who edited the stories for these recent two books is going to give Past Sins another once through... once I've got all this bookkeeping taken care of.)

Sorry, I should have clarified: It was the second edition from Equestria Publications back in 2014 that I have, with the errors. Still waiting on my Ministry of Image copy (RBDash47 picked up a signed one from the con for me, along with the other two! :yay: ). I was just curious if they'd worked with you on the text, but it sounds like not.

Ah, I see. The Ministry of Image took their text from Fimfiction, so there still may be some typoes. But I imagine they at least got rid of unnecessary underlining.

The whole set arrived today and they look wonderful!
