TF2 Analysis - Lightning Bliss

Fiery Joker, I like you – really, I do – but you literally have a video series called ‘Taking Things too Seriously.’ How are you unable to take the one thing that should be taken seriously… well, seriously? What is this one thing, you may ask?
Only the alicorn who is, personally, my favorite. An alicorn I like more than Celestia AND Luna. I am talking, of course, about Lightning Bliss.
The first video I really saw of Lightning Bliss (aside from her cameo in ‘Taking Morality in MLP too seriously’ which was where I also first saw Dr. Wolf), was ‘A Firebrand Magic Lesson,’ where Lightning Bliss and Firebrand went hoof to hoof in a magic duel. The first thing I thought after the fight was… ‘who is this little spitfire, and why haven’t I been watching her videos?’ From there, I started watching more of Lightning Bliss’ channel, and… she was amazing.
What I like most about Lightning Bliss is her character: there’s just so much personality and depth to her. She’s married to a Frost Demon from Dragon Ball Z; she used to be a pegasus before an adventure into the Dragon Ball world caused her to ascend. She has a pet rainbow monster that devours anything she doesn’t like. And, above all, she’s got a really awesome personality; this lovable free spirit that yearns to be seen as something more than just some cute toy. I always empathize with her when others don’t treat her with the respect she deserves, and her ‘Thunder Blight’ arcs had me legitimately worried for her when things looked like she wouldn’t be able to get out okay. Plus, her Alien playthrough is just a joy to watch, especially when she gets the chance to react to the story and development. She even does a really nice reprise of “I’m the Bad Guy” from Wander Over Yonder.
She continues to bring the creative ‘lightning’ so to speak, in the TF2 Analysis videos, where she plays the role of the BLU Heavy. While the exact opposite of the original Heavy in every way, Lightning Bliss makes up for it by continuing to bring her interesting personality and abilities to the field, including an incredible cameo by her pet rainbow monster Twink. Her friendship with Key Frame (who I will get to) is also very touching, and even though they were put in the wrong during the video ‘Size Matters Not,’ I was mostly on their side, and felt that Dr. Wolf was being rather harsh and one-sided by only punishing them, and not calling out the others for teasing them and causing them to lash out.
All in all, Lightning Bliss is a fun and very interesting character whom I will always enjoy seeing the exploits of. She’s easily my favorite character on the TF2 Roster, and I would have made my very first blog be of her if not for Firebrand introducing me to the community and Dr. Wolf’s excellent interaction with his fans.
Thanks for everything you do, Lightning Bliss. The others may not take you seriously, but I think you are one seriously awesome alicorn. The rainbows may make others smile, but you make me beam. I’ll keep an eye out for you; thanks again for everything.
