Hey guys, once again I owe you all a huge apology for my lack of updates to my current story. A lot has happened these past years it's been neglected and I genuinely feel bad for letting things get this bad. I still love MLP: FiM as a show, and I still very much love writing stories based around that show, but unfortunately my negligence and the passing of some unfortunate events have seen my writing crawl almost to a halt and had even stopped me watching the show a while. And a thought came to me recently as I asked myself if I really, truly planned on continuing writing even after the final season of the show finishes, and the answer is; Probably not. This doesn't mean in any way I'm no longer part of the fandom and it doesn't mean I plan on not writing ever again, but I feel like the story plans I had set up to take place after F&F: Hospitable have missed their release opportunity and I'm sorry to say I have no immediate plans to start working on them.

Hospitable was something of a pride project for me, it's the first piece of writing I've ever worked on where I felt like I knew somewhat what I was doing and what I wanted from a story, and I most certainly have loved writing it. That and I'm immeasurably pleased with the feedback it has received, and I owe a massive thanks to all my reader for their conviction, support and feedback. So, where do I plan on going from here? As far as I can tell, I'll be leaving my writing pen in its pot for a little while, maybe a couple years or so, MAYBE. I will most assuredly be popping into this most awesome site to check on updates and new stories that catch my eye, and I'm always up to chat if anyone feels the fancy to drop a PM anytime.

However, after season 9 is well and truly finished and after I complete Hospitable (which I plan on doing asap), my plan is to, for now, hold off and see what news becomes of G5. I actually have high hopes for G5 personally, an unpopular opinion, I know, but I trust that Hasbro still wants to make money off of us all and wants to orientate the show to appeal to the brony community at least a little. I think the animation could be even better than G4, I am excited for new/not so new characters and I can't wait to see what kind of setting and story the studio presents us with. It could be crap, don't get me wrong, in which case I will fondly remember my time watching G4 and most likely finish my writing efforts based in the MLP universe. HOWEVER, however if it actually turns out how I hope, a bundle of fun show with a satisfying degree of substance, then I can all but guaruntee that the Faith and Fire series will re-launch (Again ) with new stories based in G5 MLP. I know this is a lot of wishful thinking, but I hold my hopes regardless ^^

So, all in all, I plan on finishing my writing work on Hospitable soon, hopefully before season 9 ends, I will most likely not be returning to writing in G4 setting and will hold out more writing for whenever we end up seeing ourselves the G5 series.
