    The Teacher on Hold

My main story is going to be on hold for a while. I've just come up with another Fallout/MLP crossover and want to write it down before I lose it.

Just a hint. The protagonist this time will be supporting Caesar's Legion. What he's doing in Equestria will be later revealed, but it will have something to do with the Storm King and his army.

    Cheers.

    Fallout New Vegas Endings

Just out of curiosity sake, I would like to know who you guys sided with for the ending of New Vegas.

Comment who you sided with and give me a reason why you did it. I'm interested in seeing other people's perspectives.

It really changes every play though. My first time was with the Legion, just because they looked cool. I’m pretty sure I then did House because I also liked that. Then Independent, as I didn’t even know it was an ending until then. (This game was my childhood, and I’ve been playing since it came out. So I’ve done almost everything in it.) The NCR never really appealed to me, so I only did them like, five years after I first played.

I prefer Independent, though, as it seems to be the best ending. Legion is evil and unstable. They could give order to the region, yes, but they have a leader who will die soon, making their future either defeat or takeover by Lanius or Vulpes. Mister House is okay, but he is stuck in the past. He is a businessman who holds resources away for a ridiculous price in a silly game of supply and demand, even when their is no supply or demand. And the NCR are very corrupt. Yes, they may be a democracy, and they may preserve some freedom. Yet they’ll clamp down on Vegas, probably remove many freedoms, and take away the title of Vegas as a free city.

Independent can be very good, or very bad. The Courier taking charge is usually the best. Wether it be that he is evil or good. Good Courier can force peace between two nations by taking Hoover Dam, raise Freeside to riches, preserve the freedom of Vegas, so on and so fourth. And he can even make sure the Legion and NCR can’t do anything by nuking them from the Divide. Overall, it is just better.

I have a lot to say on this matter, if that isn’t obvious, as New Vegas serves as my good childhood memories. Also, being in a situation like you where I needed to decide what ending a Courier has in a story, I know how it can be hard to decide.

Yes Man ending best outcome in order stay on the good side with the majority of the factions.

Did NCR the first couple of play throughs, seemed like the Frontline guys were actually wanting to do good. Did a few things different here and there to see what I can do to make those endings better then I did mister house then yes man. Legion never appealed to me.

I prefer the Mister House ending because he was the one capable of holding New Vegas together for all those years after the war.

I drove the legion and NCR out. The tribals were there first and with either one... well it would hurt them too much. Anyone willing to spill innocent blood is on my shit list. I side with freedom.

NCR, maybe yes man. The legion is the obvious bastards, so I won’t go into detail with them. House doesn’t really give a damn about anyone outside of the strip or who isn’t giving him money, but leaving the tribes to themselves didn’t fully feel right either because then you would move backwards in making things more civilized, but at least it wouldn’t really be anything bad. NCR though, have a (semi)working government, and with inclusion of others, they can start having the numbers and training to actually make a fully working country again, especially since massive problems for one waste can be handled by a massive resource of the others (fallout 3 having the water the Mohave needs for example)
