I write pony words. Millions of them. Some people actually think they might be worth reading. I am very thankful for that. Also, I have a Patreon now?

    So I asked Gemini AI...

To summarize the story TD the Alicorn Princess. The result I got was... interesting.

    1. Fimfiction story: This story involves Peter Westmoore, a responsible college student, who is transported to the magical land of Equis and transformed into an alicorn princess named TD. He faces challenges adapting to his new life and ruling his nation.

    So...

As many of you well know, I'm a father of three. A four-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old. It's pretty great. Can be difficult, but overall a pretty big blessing. How my wife takes care of three kids five days a week is beyond me, as I have a hard time taking care of them two days a week when my wife goes off to work.

    So yeah...

    Editing help

Yes, I'm calling out for editors again. I want to submit a story to the Cozy Glow contest, and I want to make sure that the story I just wrote for it is good, or "wow, that's a jumbled mess of ideas, far too mean, and the ending is terrible."

Let me know if you'd like to help. Any extra eyes would be highly appreciated.

    I totally forgot

To mark this as a "sequel" to the original story. So, if you're in the mood for more TD/Comet...

My BronyCon blog finally. · 10:49pm Aug 8th, 2019

Ooh, finally. I wanted to make one of these several days ago, but I couldn't make the time. Now I do have time, so here it is.

Cathy was awesome. She was every bit as friendly and chipper and happy as one would hope from somebody who works on the show. She wanted to get to everybody who went into her autograph line, and she did because she's cool like that. The first day we were there for three hours. The second, three and a half hours, and the third, two hours. So there you go. But she got to everyone. We met some really awesome people and heard some really awesome stories. The people would even give her some pretty awesome gifts. Cathy was genuinely interested in everybody. It was really cool to see.

Sometimes people would come up to me and talk to me about my stories which was pretty flattering. Cathy also thought that was pretty cool, and she accepted a signed copy of my anthology book! Cool! I hope she enjoys it and skips over... I dunno, the Smarty Pants story. Heh. At least there's nothing too graphic in there. She also bought my son crochet Mugman and Cuphead dolls, so that was pretty cool!

Speaking of, if you missed getting a copy of the anthology book because you weren't at the con or you just missed it, you can get it here!

Or a copy of TD the Alicorn Princess!

Anyway. Enough of that. During the rare times that I had some time to myself, I generally spent time around the vendor hall. I didn't buy a lot, compared to other cons, but it was fascinating to see the awesome stuff that people had come up with. I bought eight or nine books from the BronyCon Bookstore. I snagged a copy of Pen Stroke's Nyx anthology on the first day, which is good, because I was either getting one on the first day, or not at all. The line to just get into the vendor hall was long. As in it took me an hour and a half to get through it. Could I have gotten through instantly because I was both staff and selling a pair of books there? Yes, I could have. Would that have been a little scummy? Yeeeaahhh.

It was three years, but I finally got to thank Faust for helping make the unity candle for my wedding! I was worried that I would ever get a chance to do that, but I actually did it! And she thinks my son is adorable. He is.

Larson was nuts, as usual. I didn't get to talk to him, but I heard he signed everything. They were doing construction outside of the center. I think that I heard that he signed one of the pieces of construction equipment. It would be like him. For the charity auction, they donated a big sharpie that everybody but Larson was told to sign. Oddly enough, I was in the room with him a couple of times, but he didn't sign anything of mine when I wasn't looking. Odd for him.

I didn't just hang out with Cathy, either. Chengar Qordath, Comma-Kazie, Ponibius, Trinary and I went out to dinner, and then we played this game called Pictostorm. It's a game where you take cards and pitch movie ideas with the cards you have, then somebody is the "executive" for the round and uses a card to add "suggestions." I won every round. It turns out I have a twisted imagination, and according to everyone else, I, and I quote, "broke the game." The best ones were about an idiotic Walmart greeter turned TSA agent and his misadventures, and a magical British nanny participating in illegal street races.

I met a bunch of other writers/readers on the site as well, which was cool. Aquaman, PresentPerfect, Admiral Biscuit, Skeeter the Lurker, RBDash47, and so forth. It was really cool. I also met one of my editors for the first time. And I told him of a major character death in Resurgence. It broke him. It was hilarious.

Having books on print makes me really want to get more out there. I am currently working on The Prince, so that should be fun.

It was a little humid in Baltimore. I am from Colorado. We don't really do humid, so it was different.

The Broncos also won! Yay! Drew Lock is currently the fourth best QB on our roster. Hoo boy. Somehow our coach coached through a kidney stone. As somebody who has had one... how?!

When I made it home, my copy of Fallout: Equestria had arrived! For some reason, it has the same kind of pages as a bible. Not sure why, but I paid half of what I would have paid normally, so I'm not complaining. Nobody in my house is allowed to touch it.

While I was at the con, the time came to pay rent. Blegh. I paid it, then saw that I wasn't paid nearly as much as I thought I would for the pay period at work. When I went back to work, the reason turned out to be insurance and taxes. BLEEEEEEGHHHHH!

There are times when I wonder if the fandom is dying. Well, it's certainly not as big as it once was, especially here on FimFiction, but eleven thousand bronies all gathered together to celebrate this show that has changed our lives forever, and for the better, shows me that we still have stuff left in the tank. Will I stop writing when the show is over? No. As long as you guys read, I will write.

Dope for that last line, cause as long as you intend to write, I intend to read.

Eager for whatever ya make next!

I don't think we did more than say hi to each other, but I'm glad we got to do that much. :) I mean, add Chengar and Ponibius to the list of people I didn't actually see at the con. D:

And yeah, that FoE book is done on Bible paper. I imagine it was so they could fit it in a single volume. :B

Tempest Shadow running a KERBS modded Nitro XJ220 with Steam Overboost?

The Fast And The Furryous?:moustache:

I think the bible stock is because the paper's thinner than what they usually use, so the book can be kept to a somewhat reasonable heft. And even then, that's not a small book.

Ah, good old Frank. The Wal-Mart greeter turned TSA Agent who saved the world, destroyed the world, got into a wrestling match with a bear, and then spent his final days hanging out in a frat house and bargaining with a magical leprechaun.

It was great to finally get to meet you! It was a blast to get to play Pictostorm and just hang out in general.

I should perhaps make a bit more effort to make myself a bit more findable at these conventions. I'm still getting my head around the idea that people actually want to see me at these conventions. :pinkiegasp:

And a lot of the people I knew were there and never got to meet, I never thought to tell anyone, "Hey, if you see X, let 'em know Present wants to say hi." I mean, that works for other people, right? :B

I was going to say "As long as you keep writing ponyfics, I'll keep reading them", but someone beat me to it. D: Still true, though.

That copy of Fallout: Equestria probably had pages like a bible because one of the editions was printed by a bible company. So that's a good keeps.

Nobody in my house is allowed to touch it.

No doubt soon your child will day soon be found mistaking it for haute cuisine.:trollestia:

There are times when I wonder if the fandom is dying.

Not really. I haven't been here long, about a year, but from what I know of fandoms, most die off some time before the shows end. But people seem to have been coming here of instead the show for ponies.

MLP belongs to the interwebz. What an utterly abhorrent thought

Oh god, you have fans! And from there... FAN BOYZ:raritycry:

I know it was mentioned A Shadoe Hangs Overhead might be getting a print version. Is that still maybe coming, or not?
