So, I need some help with Firebreathers story, and would love to hear some ideas on what to do about the big reveal of Spike to the girls. But I can tell you it will involve the Dazzling's in some way.
I also need another editor who could stand in for castroedgar316 so I can post more often. I don't require much.
1) must be good at fixing spelling errors
2) must be able to improve the flow of the story
3) optional: needs to have a basic knowledge of the crossover material
4) willing to put up with erratic chapter length
5) willing to work on multiple stories at once (3 max)

If you want to toss some ideas around maybe have the dazzlings hold a concert where the girls invite Spike. The dazzlings don't have powers, but they have a sea dragon aesthetic like the their costumes in the movie. After the opening band leaves and they come on stage Spikes's excited, but as the music starts he feels himself getting angry. Some of the music the dazzlings used has a recording of a dragon, but it's a distorted territorial roar and Spikes dragon instincts are telling him to get ready for a fight against another dragon. His scales start to appear on his face and between the shouting and people going wild he can barely move in the crowd fast enough to get to the bathroom before his wings start to poke out. Fluttershy notices Spike seems distressed and goes after him. He finally reaches the bathroom, when he can't hold back his wings anymore and they tear through his shirt. He sees himself in the mirror and he's fully transformed. He can't go out like this, but the music's so loud he can't do anything about it without leaving. He feels a sense of dread wash over him, wondering how the people outside will react given the war with the dragons and if this could be seen as an attack on the peace treating if they think the dragons are attacking Idols who are using their image to get popular. Then he hears Fluttershy at the door asking if he's in there. He has to answer cause he doesn't want to worry her or ruin the concert for his friends having them sit around waiting for him the whole time. If you like this we can talk about more about where to take it.

I like the idea very much, and I think I will incorporate some parts of it.
I was thinking of having the dazzlings be sirens like normal but they were spiteful of the end of the war and broke off small portions of the Bloodstone and used it to change into human form. Then they would sing and gather the power from humans in an attempt to overthrow the king of dragons and restart the war. They would throw a concrete and the exact opposite of what you said would happen. The humans would get angry but spike would be unaffected. Then the dazzlings would change into their dragon forms and fight spike and then blame the humans for killing him if they won. But spike stops them but in the aftermath passes out and changes back in an alley and is found by the girls. Then i was going to end the chapter after that point and then a chapter on their reactions and explanation.
But I might put your idea and mine together. I don’t really know yet

If you want to mix things up, we could have the dazzlings be descendants of another human dragon hybrid. Possibly from a dragon taking a wealthy human woman as part of his hoard and keeping her like a song bird and later a concubine to make him heirs, centuries before Spike. They could be the first witches and went into hiding only using their powers to seduce powerful people in order to have an easy life where they could get rid of people who learned of their heritage. They were shunned by the dragons for being half breeds, but since their power comes from them they praise them for being more powerful beings. The Dazzlings are the latest in their long line and while they can't grow full wings and scales like spike, they can grow fins on their back when they reach their peak. After the peace treaty the Dazzlings growing on the idea that dragons were the dominant species felt they wanted to change this by playing to their musical strengths and forcing the young humans to obey them through their popularity. With the dragons and the younger generations behind them they could quash the humans who couldn't mass murder their young and claim dominance over the human race while finally earning the dragons favor.
