Update and next chapter of stranger · 6:11pm Aug 5th, 2019
Heya everyone.
Decided to do a blog post since I haven't done one in ages, just let you guys know what's happening (and that I'm not dead). 
I'm still very much planning on writing more Stranger in the Forest, so rest your worries if you thought that I had abandoned it or something (and who could blame you, just look at the dates on those updates! Ouch 
)
However, I currently can't focus on writing the next chapter for two reasons. First, the big reason, is that I'm gonna be taking part in a finnish writing competition that will last through august. That is understandably gonna take a big chunk of my writing time to get done (length is 40 pages max). If I do well, there's a chance for a publishing deal for whatever little thing I write. 
Not that I'm really counting on it, there's mostly likely going to be *many* good writers taking part in the contest. 
The second reason is that I just recently managed to land a job, so you know...life. 
One day I'm gonna win the lottery and never have to worry about money and things...
Once I'm done with the writing competition, the next thing on my writing list is another chapter of Stranger in the Forest! And since I (presumably) have a job, I don't need to worry about taking commissions or anything, so those won't be a distraction.

Good luck on your competition and thank you for letting us know you did not forsake this great story.
Maybe I should write the next chapter and make you edit.
It would be cool if you got a published story out of that competition though.
