Ponyville's Incident by BrutalWeather
This is completely reminiscent of Final Destination film series and it made me ROFL so hard to see so many artifacts destroyed by just a football. Applejack, you're in a lot of trouble.
Children of the Night by Duo Cartoonist
This nocturnal and enchanting MV gives a lot of nostalgic vibes of Peter Pan, Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Tori Amos's 2009 Christmas album, Midwinter Graces.
Snowdrop by SFS Animation
This is such a cute, inspirational, and sad video. I find it upsetting that Snowdrop's classmates ridicule her because she's blind and she has a talent for creating snowflakes. I'm glad she proved them wrong and her appreciation of stars and the night initiated a heartwarming friendship with Luna. Seeing well-designed snowflakes falling gently leaves you with a calm and serene feeling in the chest.
Chrysmas Special by Fluffle Puff
I'm totally on board for Queen Chrysalis being depicted in a different light. She may be rude and unwelcoming at first, but she becomes a playfully mischievous, fun-loving, and grateful changeling, thanks to Fluffle Puff's efforts.
The Fall of Sunset Shimmer by Minty Root
The quality of the animation and the music that goes along with it is so superb. It's one of the most heartbreaking fanmade content I've ever watched, considering that it deals with Sunset Shimmer and her difficulties which resulted in her acting all mean and harsh in the first EG film.
I miss the days when great fan animations came out constantly; 2012 was a magical time for me!

Unfortunately, I don't share the same feelings as you because I was busy with college and I was more invested in Adventure Time and Regular Show.

For me, I got into the show in 2011 since I was going through my usual depression, although I did watch G1 when I was little. (Pretty much always been into Hasbro stuff, haha!)
I did watch Adventure Time up to season 5 but never saw Regular Show; admittedly I tend to veer towards more action cartoons over comedies, so MLP is a bit of an outlier for me!
