Then, in 2016, I came across a show that changed my life forever. My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, the show that was aimed at little girls, but gained an entire fandom of all ages. I would often tell my friends about how they were always the light shining through the darkness of my life, with Markos in particular being the most empathetic and comforting me while the others cracked jokes, left, right and centre.
But now, as of 2019, the show has finally come to an end, and knowing that people will most likely move on and forget about it has finally doused the flame in my heart. Never again will I find such happiness in my life.
