So, I'm basically all packed up and ready for next weekend's festivities. I'll be arriving on Friday afternoon, and I can't wait! Look for the guy in the sweet Discord t-shirt (just on Friday, I'm not one of those slobs that reuses dirty clothes).
Switching to a totally unrelated topic, I've been having a blast with Fire Emblem: Three Houses. And, one of the students in the house I picked, the Golden Deer, is so impossibly similar to Fluttershy it cannot be a coincidence. Her name is Marianne. She's a very shy, apologetic girl with a soft, airy voice. Her talents lie in healing/faith and flying on the backs of pegasi. Also, her personal skill is literally called Animal Friend, and she can talk to birds and horses. Heck, she was even adopted into her noble house, so for all I know she could actually be Fluttershy. Like, she was transported to Fódlan and turned into a human as a child, or something. Who knows, there might be a crossover in there somewhere.
Spoken like someone who is not bringing a five year old to BronyCon. My husband took off work Wednesday so I can get last minute stuff done, and I still bet I make a Walmart stop on the way up for something I forgot.
