I can’t believe it!

I’ve managed to reach my 250th blog post!

Man, I sure have been on fire with blogging lately.

Anyway, today I thought that, to celebrate reaching number 250, it wouldn’t hurt to show you guys one of each subject. Another video from YouTube that I absolutely love watching, a little something personal that I’d like to reveal, and a paint-by-number that I managed to complete recently.

And so, without further ado, here they are:

First things first, the video:

This video that I’m showing you guys here is my “8th Favorite Fanmade Non-MLP Video”, and one that I grew fondly of for quite some time. It’s a fanmade Spongebob Squarepants video made by Justin LaVigne, starring Spongebob himself and Squidward Tentacles singing “Looks Like I Got Me a Friend”, from Don Bluth’s “The Pebble and the Penguin”. Spongebob is in the role of Hubie, and Squidward is in the role of Rocko.

I realize that Spongebob episodes of today aren’t as popular as the ones from Seasons 1-3, and that “The Pebble and the Penguin” isn’t one of Bluth’s best works, but…this video is absolutely amazing! Plus, the song itself is actually what I can’t help but consider one of the film’s most accomplished of elements.

Sure, the clips shown in this video aren’t of HD quality and were videoed by a camera from a television set, but that hardly matters.

Everything about this video was perfect and funny from start to finish, and Spongebob and Squidward fit the characters of Hubie and Rocko magnificently, and the timing of everything, particularly when some moments fit certain lyrics, was amazing.

But don’t take my word for it.

Take a look for yourself and tell me what you guys think:

And now, for the personal part:

This may sound crazy, but, in regards to my frequent mentionings of Walt Disney in my latest film review, as well as how much I think the Disney company of today should think more about what he would want, I always found him to be...well, a hero to me. An inspiration even, particularly in regards to storytelling. I often can’t help but look up to him so much to call him a hero because of how much he inspires me and how much I love what he did.

The fact that he was also a Presbyterian Christian, just like me, made him all-the-more inspirational to me. There are a great many sources that confirm this, I assure you. You just have to find them.

And last, but certainly not least, my latest painting:

This painting is a paint-by-number that I’ve been working on for quite a while, and I was able to complete it last night. When I showed this to my parents earlier today, they told me it had a New Orleans sort of setting, and that there was actually someone who’d be interested in buying it because of that.

I’m pretty sure that you guys are going to be wanting to see more paintings done by me. For now, however, this painting here will be the last one I do, because there are some paintings that I still have in my house, and I want to sell them and make some cash. Paintings cost money, and a lot of times, an artist would like to be rewarded something for his efforts.

I hope you guys enjoyed this stuff I’ve shared with you all.

Let me know in the comments what you guys thought about them.

Wow, that painting looks great! Really captures the feel of a rainy autumn day.

The painting is really good! It does kind of have a New Orleans vibe to it.

It’s great that you’re inspired by Walt Disney. He was a really good person.

Like a lot of the videos you’ve posted previously (that I didn’t comment on), I haven’t gotten around to watching Spongebob Squarepants yet, so I’m not really able to watch the video yet. I will eventually, though, when I get around to watching the show (it’ll probably be a very long time, though:twilightsheepish:).

That video was hilarious. :rainbowlaugh: Whoever made it had amazing editing skills.

I really liked the painting. Doesn't look like a paint-by-numbers at all!

What did you think of my painting? As well as the fact that Walt Disney is an inspiration to me?

I still can't believe that your paint-by-number paintings are paint-by-number. They always look so amazing. Also, I'm honestly not surprised that you would think highly of Walt Disney.
