Of course, this birthday is a little more melancholy seeing as how it's the first one since I lost my father last year.
So, I Finally Saw The First Episode of Season 9 · 5:00pm Jul 24th, 2019
Well, after weeks, if not months, of sitting on my duff, with only a week left before the hiatus ends and the remaining 13 episodes air, I finally worked myself up to watch the premiere of Season 9. Yes, I know I've way behind, but like Twilight, I'm just not ready for this. I really like FiM, and I'm really reluctant to watch the end. Still, I know I need to face it, and hopefully, even after the final episode airs, Gen 5 will live on in the hearts of fans, and that Gen 6 will be just as good.
Now, before anyone asks, I've only seen the first of the two parter, I'm taking it one step at a time. In case anyone is wondering, I don't intend to incorporate Grogar into my MoDaC series (I've really got to start writing that again), as I have other ideas that don't include him (or Cozy Glow). The destruction of the Tree of Harmony is something I intend to avoid as it'll play a bigger part in my stories. Frankly, I think the main thing I'm going incorporate from the episode into my series is the term 'Twilighting". It's just really funny and I can really get into using it.
Anyway, I intend to watch the second part of the opener at least tomorrow. After that, I think I'll be able to watch the other episodes more freely (it's just that the season premieres and season finales are just more intense than the rest, as you know). I just wanted everyone to know about my feelings on the first episode.
