Hello Everypony,
As promised, here is something (finally) new from me. For anyone who has been keeping up with Flutters of Fancy, you might be aware of its curious beginnings. It started as a flash of inspiration I received while enjoying the work of one of my favorite fan artists, Audrarius. I didn't know him personally at the time, but as I intended to use the image that inspired the story as cover art, I got in touch to ask his permission. We got to talking, found out we're both AppleShy fans, and the result was both permission and a fine conversation. Not long thereafter I encountered a new piece of art from him that...very strongly resembled what was happening in the story I had written. I asked him if that's what it was, and he confirmed that he enjoyed the story so much that he created said image. So, said image became the new cover art for the first Flutters of Fancy story, and we ended up with art...inspired by a story...inspired by art!
Anyway, the next few stories in the series became art trades, where I received some lovely images of my OC. He created some fantastic cover art for each new part, as well as some more 'inspired' images that would be against the site rules for me to link to here. Now, here we are at part 4, which was unplanned and further inspired by Audrarius's art. I haven't heard from him in a long time. So I wish him well, and if he reads this next part, hope he enjoys it. Naturally, I hope you enjoy it as well.
At this point I have no additional plans to continue this series. But then, neither had I plans to create a fourth part. So you never know, right?
