So. You may be wondering: Who's this guy writing this blog about Remnants? Well. In case you haven't read the bottom of the description, I was the editor for Qrow on Remnants. Keyword, was. Why? Well, lets let Qrow explain more.

That all said. Like he said, Qrow's gonna be drawing up an outline of the plan he'd set for the rest of the story. I already have a fair idea of how Blake's arc is supposed to end, as he'd given me the outline for her way back when I Burn was still only like... two or three chapters in... so that should still follow the outline as he'd intended. Ruby's... I'll do my best.
Now, I don't know if Qrow's gonna be reading the chapters that I post, so I don't know how much influence he'll still have aside from what we've covered so far in regards to keeping me on track, so I can't guarantee an exact match to his plan.
That all aside, you'll be wondering: So whens the next chapter coming out? Short answer? I have no idea. If you look at my page, you'll notice good number of unfinished stories all collecting dust. With Sins of the Father a project i'm trying to use to to get back into writing, that doesn't mean i'm going to just put Remnants on the back burner and make empty promises of ever completing it. Remnants is going to take a very high spot on my list of priorities for stories to finish. If I can ever actually get back into writing more than a paragraph every few weeks... Therefor. I can make no promises for when a new chapter will be coming out.

This news to me that this happened, but I'm not worried or complaining.
Just got two questions; one, how much of the story is going to follow what Qrow had planned?
And two, is the story going to follow as close to either shows, or is most of what's to come AU?

Qrow and I have been collaborating since I Burn, back before they were named after their music videos. That said, Qrow provided me with an outline of his original plan, for as far as he planned, and then he and I brainstormed an idea for the final arc.
For the most part, the story will be AU, as it'll be more focussed on the events around RWBY interacting with the ponies rather than the ponies interacting with RWBY. Given how far back the story deviated from the show, and how I can't really remember what all happened that long ago, it'll be easier to maintain AU status.

That makes sense, it's easier to make story either as an AU or the current status of the show than previous seasons
