Dear Diary,
I... I'm not in Tartarus anymore. That should make me happy, but it does not! Father is still locked away there, as is the rest of our race. While I hold no love for them, other than my father, no one deserves to live their entire lives in that place! That is the only reason I continued to build and design for my father all those years! But... I always knew in the back of my mind what he and the others would do if they ever escaped!
I never told anyone else this, but... all those inventions... all those machines to escape... I... I sabotaged every one of them! Most of them would have worked! But... I couldn't stand the thought of having Equestrian blood on my claws! My last invention, The Malice Cannon... I couldn't seem to lower the output any further! It... it would have worked! Even at minimum power it would of had no trouble negating the barrier! What did I almost do?!
Thankfully Equestria's Hero of Light stopped me from making a grave mistake! I only hope whatever form of torture and execution he has planned for me is enough of a penance for... for what I almost did!
The crimes of the previous generation should never be lauded on the current. You don't have to live in your parent's shadow.
