>King Sombra (if I remember correctly, the video was laggy) turns into dust and it basically killed.

>Cadence takes the Crsytal Heart and puts it in place
>Dramatic monologue by Cadence
>Beam from the Crystal Heart hits Sombra
>His shadowy form is blown away to reveal he's a Unicorn Crystal Pony (all Crystal Ponies in the episode are Earth Ponies)
>His real name is King Sparklebutt Sapphire and he's the King of the Crystal Ponies
>Cadence is his daughter, which is why she's the Crystal Princess
>Sapphire apologizes for his anger
> Ominous claim about a dark aura described like Nightmare Moon's smoke form taking over his mind (He was trapped just after Luna was banished, and returned right after she did.)

but i enjoyed the cannon ending none the less but i agree that we need more villains that are redeemed
seriously at this rate there will be an entire league of villains that comes back at the last season (may it be long until it happens)
but don't worry, sombra isn't gone forever, just look at the pieces of him when he is blown apart.
notice how the horn is fully intact? now when you see that think of what only a fragment it did too the most magical place in equestria.
i believe that we have not seen the last of either discord, chrysalis or sombra (inb4 sombralis shipping is best villain shipping)

Well, in short, the Hub aired 5 Gak commercials (Gak is basically a lovechild between Silly Putty and bubble gum) in a row. Twice. There were a lot of Gak commercials. Gak got more screentime than Sombra.

And on the villains-last-season note - personally, I like to believe that this season is only 13 episodes because they're working on a movie
