So... anyone else notice a distinct lack of work being done on my older stories? Hero Souls and Tartarus Forged, to be specific.
With Tartarus Forged, I've actually been considering recently whether or not I want to just scrap it completely and try again with a different approach. This is one of the first stories I started that actually gained some popularity. I don't want to just abandon it, but I can't deny I have absolutely no drive to write it currently.
As for Hero Souls, rest assured. This is my baby, and I have no intention of ever canceling it. Maybe putting it on Hiatus while I deal with RL bull, or attempt to wrangle it into something that somewhat approaches understandable, but it will never be cancelled.
Just wanted to let you all know about that, because I've been noticing some people lumping Tartarus Forged and Hero Souls in the "Abandoned" and "Cancelled" bookshelves.
Plus, I wasn't kidding about Real Life bullshit. Bills suck this year with the mother of all heatwaves ravaging the northeast, I'm currently supporting a friend while he goes out in this heat every day job-hunting, and I'm job-hunting as well.
Nevermind the drama unfolding at home...
So, yeah... I'm not so busy that life is miserable, but things are starting to get a bit hectic.

Yeah. I can sympathize with the "real life" stuff. All I can say is deal with what you have to deal with and do what you want to do. I'll be mature enough to respect your decision one way or the other.
Tartarus forged is a lovely story, but in the end it's up to you to discard it or not
