After being asked several times now when the next chapter of "Fine" is to be expected and realising that it's, once again, been half a year since the last update, I've decided to start making blog posts to document my writing progress in the hope that it'll help keep me motivated and going, and keep people informed on how things stand.
As of just now, I've finished the Introductory and Rarity portions of Chapter 4 Part 2 of "Fine" sitting at 2433 words and am now starting with the Pinkie Pie portion.
Work on Chapter 2 of "Pull my Devil Trigger" has also started and I'm currently working on determining in which way to best begin the chapter.
As a sidenote, I've also decided to overhaul the preceeding chapters. They were all mostly written on impulsive flashes of creativity, without much in the way of editing or quality control, as I've realised after a commenter was so kind as to point out the, frankly embarrassing, amount of mistakes I made in just the first Chapter. So yeah, that needs to be fixed. I'm not planning on any major changes to the story beats themselves, but want tweak and smooth things out for a coherent tone and characterisation in line with my plans for the story.
We wouldn't ask if we didn't care, and we wouldn't care if the story wasn't worthwhile

. I had one author come in after three years, when everyone thought that the story was effectively dead, drop a half-dozen hefty chapters--in the 15k-20k wordcount range--in about two months, and then fuck again for a few more years.
Oh please, you're not even in my personal "Top 10" for wait times on fanfiction updates
It's just part and parcel of the experience

Possible, yeah.
Kinda depends on whether I can come up with a good plotline to develope out of it.
