Holiday time, wonky horse updates and July commission slots! · 3:59pm Jun 24th, 2019
Well, I'm "off work" this week, which means I am writing this journal from a sunny pool somewhere with a fancy, fruity, boozy drink in hand...
...okay, now that we've got that fantasy out of the way, I am actually just taking a "holiday at home" because I own horses and we decided to do a "staycation" thing this time around. I've got a few sites of interest that I want to go to this week (and have already done a horse show at the weekend) so there will be bits going on. Bear with me if I'm back and forth somewhat, although I will endeavour to keep everything as consistent as possible!
However, my grey mare clearly knew that I had a holiday planned and began streaming thick gunk out of her problem side/nostril once more, as is the way. After some running around, I have her booked to see the specialist again next week, although I've not much of an idea as to whether it is the sinus that's the issue or the tooth next to the one that's extracted. It's got a strange chip up the side so I was going to get that looked at anyway, just was trying to let the rest "settle" so that any issues could be better isolated there.
With that in mind, I am cautiously reminding you lovely bunch that I am open for commission work for July slots, of course, and just to get the scope up her snozz is circa 240 GBP (depends how much sedation she takes as tube up nose requires a touch more for her) just to LOOK up there, so I appreciate any work that you can send my way, as you please! My next open slot is 12th July currently to finish off that week: full details are below!
