Did you ever have a dream that was so intense that you thought it was real and everything you saw actually happened?

I just don't understand some people.....

I was only out to buy some simple things today. I had some change left and I went to a nearby park to give it to a homeless person. I couldn't find one and went back to the train station and mall where I started. A man was standing there in front of the entrance, with heavy luggage, a huge backpack and a big suitcase. He asked me for change and said he has no place to sleep. I was unsure about

    I miss these glorious Saturdays.....

I have seen this thread in the Crossover group about saturday morning cartoon openings (that's now deleted) in my feed and it triggered it..... The memory of the Saturdays when a new episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired. I miss these Saturdays..... Watching a new episode, waiting for an upload, downloading it, rewatching it 3 - 5 times, writing an analytical review of the episode

Selfishness has been my wrong motivator for the longest time..... and people don't see who I really am because of that.

A lot of people in the fandom don't understand who I am and think of me as a bad person. My friend sometimes does, too, and doesn't trust me anymore because of that. There have been moments when she literally asked me "Who are you?". I was always thinking this was stemming from trust issues that she developed because of events in her past and I was only marginally attributing the cause for this

[SPOILERS] Future Equestrian Stories Analyzis Firework! - Part 3: The Synopses for Episodes 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 for Season 9! · 11:17pm Jun 20th, 2019

And here is Part 3 of today's Future Equestrian Stories Analyzis Firework, which is also the last part! Aside from the previews for the "Rainbow Roadtrip" Special and the official, english MLP: FiM manga, we've also gotten the synopses for Episodes 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 of Season 9 on Tuesday! They contain quite a couple intriguing things and surprises, so I'll talk about them after the page break, as usual, to avoid spoilers!

And the new synopses start out very surprising: Pinkie Pie is searching for her purpose in life.
That's new for Pinkie. Pinkie Pie is one of the only two of the Mane Six who doesn't have a specific dream or a goal to reach in her life. Unlike, for example, Rainbow Dash who dreamt of becoming a member of the Wonderbolts. Pinkie Pie just lives her life carefree and she only lives for the moment. But now, that seems to change.
Going by what this synopsis tells us, it sounds like Pinkie Pie somehow realizes that she doesn't have a big dream or life goal like most of her friends have and that she isn't happy about that. Which is very unexpected for her, so this will be a very interesting episode. Also because we will see Cheese Sandwich again. I think "the unimaginable" that Pinkie Pie discovers when she seeks him out will be that Cheese Sandwich goes through a similar existential crisis and is, therefore, not of much help for her. From that point onwards, the episode could go into a lot of directions, but I am hoping for one particular one.
What I don't understand here is, why does Pinkie Pie seek out Cheese Sandwich to help her with finding her purpose? Why doesn't she..... I don't know..... go to three certain fillies whose destiny it is to help others find their purpose in life?

I don't understand Pinkie's motivation here. Yes, Cheese Sandwich is an old friend of hers and he is very similar to her. But she has experts for her problem right there in Ponyville..... So why doesn't she go to them? That she seems to not even think on them cuts especially deeply considering that, right now, it still looks like "The Last Crusade" was the very last Cutie Mark Crusaders episode. I feel cheated of at least one other Cutie Mark Crusaders episode before the show ends by Pinkie here. But I have one last hope regardless.
If it turns out as true that Cheese Sandwich goes through the same existential crisis as Pinkie, then they will very likely both seek out the counselling work of Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. I really, really, REALLY hope for this to be the case, otherwise, everything will look even more grim.
.
.

This synopsis made me almost instantly think of Lightning Dust. Her attempt at revenge during Season 8, to rile Scootaloo up against Rainbow Dash and then to endanger Scootaloo to make Rainbow Dash feel even more miserable, failed, so she still has a bone to pick with Rainbow Dash.
I would not be surprised if she returns again for another revenge attempt. And, maybe, she somehow convinced Twilight to let her as coach for the buckball team into her friendship school.
If that's the case, there is sure more to her revenge plan, not coaching this team would already gnaw at Rainbow Dash, but it would not be enough to break her completely. I've already seen a lot of bronies give this episode a hard time for no reason, but this episode could potentially turn out as a very thrilling one if we see Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust clashing with each other again.
Either way, I'm looking forward to this episode in any case. The Friendship School deserves more screentime, and so do the Student Six, especially considering how Season 9 will be the last one and that we don't know for sure if there is a chance that we will see the Friendship School and the Student Six again in Generation 5. Also, seeing Silverstream playing buckball will be epic. I think she will be great at it. Maybe I will even see Wind Sprint again, surely she is interested in anything new that's buckball-related. I wouldn't mind seeing her a second time, considering that my first time seeing her might have already been my time last time seeing her, as well.
And, who knows, maybe my crushed wish from "Student Counsel" still becomes true and we will see also some other students of Twilight's school than the Student Six in the spotlight, maybe even Lemon Crumble. I can hope.
.
.

Twilight can't catch a break lately, can she? First she learns that Celestia and Luna are going to retire and that she should take over the throne from them, then she witnesses the destruction of the Tree of Harmony and the Elements of Harmony and then she has to realize that she lost her book return record of the Canterlot Library (and had to fear for a while that she got her favourite librarian fired on top of that). And now she will lose her winning streak in that trivia game because Pinkie Pie gets paired up and they lose because Pinkie has no clue about that game?
Twilight is in really tough times right now. It seems like the universe has decided to start hating her for the last season of the show.
There isn't much to take away from this episode synopsis, but I'm wondering how this imminent crisis will affect the friendship between Pinkie and Twilight. Especially considering that we already saw a clash between them not too long ago. This episode could be a very dramatic and sad one, with a more serious conflict than the one seen between Rainbow Dash and rarity in "The End in Friend" last season.
.
.

No, Twilight DEFINITELY can't catch a break. And neither can we, because this episode sounds like it is going to be the big tearjerker of the second half of Season 9, after we already had one with "The Last Crusade" in the first half of it.
Not only is it the last Summer Sun Celebration for Celestia and Luna as rulers and during their reign of Equestria, we will also get to see one last Summer Sun Celebration before the show ends. Which is especially meaningful, because My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic also started with the Summer Sun Celebration in the very first episode. I feel sad and have a lump in my throat already just by typing this.
And as if all of that wouldn't be tragic enough already, Twilight also seems to fail with making this last Summer Sun Celebration for Celestia and Luna a special one, which will drive her mad from guilt.
I am actually surprised that Season 9 has such few episodes that drive it home that this is the last season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in a heartwrenching way, the only one like this that we've gotten so far is "The Last Crusade" (and I really hope this ISN'T the last Cutie Mark Crusaders episode, my heart couldn't take it), but this one here is clearly another one like that.
It will be incredibly sad to see this episode, though, I can already tell that it won't make me as sad as "The Last Crusade" did (and still does).
.
.

The last new episode synopsis, for now. Writing this blog entry is actually exceedingly hard to do. When the synopsis for an episode whose number is close to 20 comes around, it's always tough, because that's the first time you get a feel for it how it will be when the season nears it end and when another long hiatus is around the corner. This time, this feeling is multiplied thousandfold, because we know that Season 9 is the last season and that nothing will come afterwards. An eternal hiatus, unless Generation 5 isn't this dreaded reboot, which we don't know yet. That makes it much harder this time and it makes it hard to write down thoughts for these episodes based on their synopses.
So, Fluttershy and Angel will talk with each other with the help of a potion by Zecora when their relationship is threatened to crumble and fall apart. I somehow have the feeling this episode will be a sad one, too, although not as sad as "The Last Crusade" is or "The Summer Sun Setback" will be. Angel means a lot to Fluttershy, so I expect her to cry a good amount of tears before Zecora presents her solution.
And when I read that synopsis, I had an epiphany for something so obvious that I should have realized it long ago, but I somehow didn't:

We've never actually heard Angel talk.

Think about it. Every single time Angel communicated with Fluttershy, he always did it with sign language (sometimes with literal signs). But he never made any sounds to communicate. The only sounds we ever heard him make were crying when he got hurt or was sad or when he was afraid. But we never heard any sounds from him that qualify as language or talking and, therefore, no sounds that Fluttershy could understand thanks to her ability to understand the language of animals. From all we've seen, Angel is mute. Which is an epiphany that does a great deal to make me understand how this episode will work.
Fluttershy can already talk with animals and understand their language. She doesn't need a potion for that. But Angel did never talk. So Fluttershy had no chance to use that ability with him. Some already think this episode doesn't make any sense after reading the synopsis, but if you have realized that Angel is apparently not able to talk in any way, then you'll see that it does make sense.
So what will happen is that Zecora whips up a potion that cures Angel's mutism, even if only for a limited time maybe, so that Fluttershy can finally hear words from him instead of just seeing sign language. Whether this will mean that we will hear Angel talk in the language of a pony or in his own bunny language that only Fluttershy can understand then isn't made clear by the synopsis, but Fluttershy will hear him talking in some way for the first time ever.
I wonder what Angel has to tell and what the reason for his clash with Fluttershy is. Most importantly, though, I hope that this episode will make the fandom at large actually understand Angel. He really is underrated and quite misunderstood by almost everyone.

Well, I sort of would like if lighting Dust and Rainbow make peace, as they do in the fanfics and I can sympathize with Twilight, she really needs some rest or backup. Angel, I wonder too, he's very smart.

-sigh- I'm still not trusting Celestia and Luna to retire from ruling Equestria and giving it to Twilight and her friends at all. Wanna know why Flutter? >:/

I would ask why, but considering that you wrote this under a blog entry about upcoming episodes, no, I don't wanna know. I know there have been chinese leaks of a few episodes and I avoid spoilers like the plague.
