Best Gen 5 Movie Background Character

This Gen 5 wall socket feels the same way I do about the new movie. Took three viewings to spot him. He was being medium sneaky.

    Something to Consider

This terrible year is almost over. Regardless of what the new year brings with it, let’s all try to remember that we’re stronger together than we are apart. Even when separated by distance or a simple screen, there’s strength in kindness and friendship.

    Life sucks

I feel the need to post this not because I’m looking for sympathy, but because writing has become an ever more important outlet in a world that, for mutual safety, requires people to stay apart when they most want or need others to be close. That, and it hurts so much that I don’t feel like working on any of my current stories and this is actually helping.

Happy Independence Day to all my fellow Americans, and a fantastic weekend to everyone. Plus, obligatory naval humor for this day.

When you've been stuck down in the depths of a gray, metal box for almost two weeks and finally get to step outside.

Not the longest I've gone without seeing the sun or sky, but even for a follower of Luna that's a good bit of time. Still, the two week training exercise was beneficial for someone like me who has never before worked in a staff configuration. Or at the Operational level of warfare. I'm a Tactical level guy. But yeah, fruitful training in spite of the terrible sleep, mind-numbing planning sessions, and a stateroom so cold that three wool blankets couldn't keep out the chill.

Got A LOT of editing accomplished when I should have been sleeping and not drinking copious amounts of twice-baked coffee, but I'm told that I can sleep when I'm dead. How much editing? Every remaining chapter of "The Great Parent Rescue" has been added to, cut up, or redone. All 54 Google Doc pages. I only hope that my self-editing skills are sufficient until I find a regular editor other than Light Shine, who has his own writing to do.

Speaking of sleep deprivation and caffeine overdoses, I made a thing. A writing thing. I was sitting in front of a console all night, watching a fake war take place, and had my trusty notepad with me. A thing happened on that notepad. It will be uploaded soon.

I apologize in advance.
