The Life and Times of Amber Spark!

    Hello, my long-lost friends!

So, you’re probably wondering what the flipping heck happened to me. After all, the last real post I did, aside from the money stuff and a Hearth’s Warming post, was apparently 82 weeks ago, in September of 2021.

Looking for Some Help With Top/Bottom Surgery!

Hey folks! I know it's been forever and I promise I'll provide an update on where everything is in the near future. But today, I'm gonna ONCE AGAIN ask for financial help. And this one is only for me. I'm not going to use my girls or anything to try and guilt you into helping. Moving on past that BS.

    Hearth's Warming Thoughts 2021

I know a lot of you have friends and family to be with this holiday. I also know a lot of you are struggling this holiday with (sometimes former) friends and family who refuse to accept you for who you are. I know I am. Some of you are alone in a room, some of you are alone in a crowd. And some of you have people who accept you.

EFNW 2019: Day 2 - Saturday: Perfect Friendships · 4:18pm Jun 17th, 2019

Cover Art by Dawnfire!

Just Another Denny’s Breakfast

As per the norm, I hauled myself out of bed at (roughly) 7 AM. This time, I managed to not wake up Tsitra too early! Yay being considerate! (Seriously, my alarm blared out yesterday and freaked us both out).

I joined Sun Sage, Nat, Dave, Arcshod, Bookish Delight, Shaxx, Corejo, Sammi, Loofa (several of them trickled in as we ate. Those poor servers having to deal with us taking up an entire side of Denny’s!).

To be honest, the food was… actually not that great this time. I mean, Denny’s, but still, odd. At least the French Toast was nommy.

Still, the company more than made up for any lacking in food quality!

...mostly.

Vendor Hall Raid - Saturday Edition

Finally, deciding to get my prints and other things I wanted to acquire, I met up with Mono and a few others and we raided the Vendor Hall. You see, my favorite location, as I mentioned, was the Traveling Pony Museum. That’s where I finally got that beautiful two-sided bag for Painted. I also scored a Rarity Cutie Mark magnetic decal for Rarity, my car. It seemed just too perfect to pass up. Sadly, no Sunset one and the Twilight one didn’t really grab me. Either way, I’m very happy with it.

I believe this was the day, however, where I met none other than Twisted Sketch. I stared at her name and table for quite some time, thinking “Why does that name seem so familiar?” I looked at her artwork and eventually, we struck up a conversation. She admitted Novel Idea seemed familiar. Both of us wracked our brains until I snapped my fingers and figured it out in a flash.

Twisted Sketch was the artist behind my original convention badge!

I got in contact with her through Blue Nova, the Art Director of GoE. Blue and Twisted are both based out of Albuquerque! In fact, Blue’s how I first met Ebon Quill (I think)! She was one of my very first proper commissions of any art!

Blue Nova’s Con Art Badge Commission by Twisted Sketch

We were both thrilled to meet one another in person and while I now use the con badge Overlord Neon did for me in 2017, I still keep my old con badge nice and safe above my desk at home!

SCRIPTfest Winner Reading

I split off from the rest of the group and eventually headed over to the SCRIPTfest Winner Reading, a script done by Aquaman and read by the entire VA cast. While I only came in at the beginning of act two after a short break upstairs, it was easy to catch up on. Starlight and Spike take the Student Six to try and reach out to Cozy Glow, trying to get her to deal with her anger issues and maybe get redeemed.

It played out great, perfectly like an episode, down to Tirek actually whispering things to Starlight to make her doubt herself, ironically, a doubt that eventually ends up helping both Silverstream and Gallus.

And Cozy ends up being licked into a sopping wet puddle of slobber by Cerberus thanks to Gallus.

The panel ended to wild applause and a partial standing ovation, which was well deserved. Aquaman did a kickass job creating that script. So kudos to him!!!

The Autograph Line with Albi and Violet

After leaving the panel, I decided it was time to finally knock something off my to-do list. I needed to get my autographs. Now, because of how things played out, I’d decided to go for a Sponsor badge, which gave me a cool line cut thing. I didn’t actually need to use part of it because the main line was moving so dang quickly.

To the surprise of no one, Cathy Weseluck and Kelly Sheridan were the two standouts with huge lines. So, it was time to do the line thing. Thankfully, I wasn’t long and had both Albi and Violet to keep me company in line. I don’t remember a word of what was said during that conversation, but they were just nice enough to hang out with me. Small groups help sometimes!

Sadly, they couldn’t come in with me, so I said I’d meet them for a late lunch after. And once I bought a single autograph voucher (I got a line skip and an autograph voucher, which pretty much helped to pay for a lot of the Sponsor badge), I got set up in the proper line.

I want to point out that the staff did a kickass job with the autograph room, especially the artists for each character. The special backdrop they did for photos for each VA were spectacular, adorable and just plain old fun!

Note: That’s not actually Sunni there, but I thought the art was just adorable!

I mentioned that Kelly Sheridan is one of the main factors in winning me over into liking Starlight Glimmer, right? She’s crazy nice!

When Lauren Jackson Recognized Me

I struggled a little with who I wanted an autograph for all the way leading up to the con. Of course, at this point, I’d already decided. Thankfully, Lauren Jackson, the voice of Silverstream, had a short line when I came in. Rather surprising considering how adorable her character is. I mean, she’s a straight take on Skystar, who I adore in every way. So it was sort of like getting an autograph from a younger Skystar!

...oh shush.

I didn’t opt for the photo package and for some reason, I didn’t get a picture of Lauren’s backdrop, sadly (I missed a good closeup of Sandbar’s, too).

Now, the oddest thing was that Lauren Jackson apparently recognized me. Only she recognized me from Trotcon. One catch: I ain’t ever been to Trotcon. So whoever’s out there who has been to Trotcon who’s trying to be me, stop being me! I’m me! Just quit it.

Lauren was a pleasure to meet and chat with. She had an adorable little thing--which I suspect was a gift--of Silverstream as a seapony sitting atop wooden blocks for stairs. Hey, stairs are a big deal to seaponies. She had one other, but I can’t quite recall.

However, someone else did get a picture!

She was as cheerful and bubbly as her character and had great delight in signing the picture, making several comments about how great it was.

On Coco Pommel with Cathy Weseluck

I was actually a bit nervous with Cathy Weseluck, I confess. I mean, the woman voices Spike, has been there since Day 1, had an immense resume and voices freaking Coco Pommel. I mean, how can you not love her?

I finally used my line skip pass and cut out a good 30-40 minutes of waiting… ironically skipping right past Bookish, who was planning on having the exact same print signed as I was! It was the only real Coco print available, so it’s understandable, of course. Though I think I found it first… so only fitting that I got to go first!

I waited until called though. I had no idea how to use this skip pass thing and it felt awkward as hell, really. I’m glad I didn’t have a dozen things to sign (I had already done with Rebecca Shoichet and I still cringe at how awkward I was). Thankfully, Cathy’s a wonderful person who didn’t make me feel awkward in the slightest.

In fact, Cathy just praised the print endlessly, saying it was beautiful, asked where I got it and even took a picture of me holding up the print and another close up of the artist’s signature! I sadly couldn’t remember the artist (I’d never seen the picture before then).

Afterward, I thanked her profusely and left with a smile on my face. The entire process had taken less than twenty minutes if that. Fastest autographs at an MLP convention to date!

A Lunch With Friends

Albi and Violet were still hanging out in the general area and I was starving, so we all headed over to get some lunch and/or drinks depending on if we’d eaten or not. I remember their chicken strips and fries being excellent and I wanted to try that again.

Try not to think too hard about the names. They get bonus points for adding the character names in appropriate dishes. Think more about the drink menu. The Yona was the best drink in there. It’s essentially a root beer float. A fantastic one, too! Built off Thomas Kemper Root Beer! Eeee!

The meal was a great time. It was small and casual, exactly what I needed right then. I was riding high on good con vibes, but I was also struggling a little here and there. This was the break I needed.

Albi! Drinking a Gallus! (I think)

Loofy!

Violet! ...sorta (Yona’s in the foreground!)

Loofy, by the way, got a Silverstream. I eventually tried one, and nearly died from the sweetness. I described it as getting punched in the mouth with a fist made entirely of sugar.

After lunch, we did some pings to find out where everyone was. To my surprise, they’d all gone in for…

Whooves Line is it Anyway?

Inspired the classic improv comedy show (hell, I remember watching this when I was a kid), Whose Line is it Anyway?, this pony-themed version starred ACRacebest, BlackGryp0n, EllieMonty and Nowacking, while being hosted by DustyKatt and Foalpapers.

The full ‘episode’ of Whooves Line is it Anyway? at Everfree Northwest 2019

While it’s two hours long, I highly recommend you sit back, relax and watch it sometime. It’s a fantastic show and it was outright hilarious.

Just ask the audience.

Sadly, I, and several others couldn’t stay for the full panel, as it ran right into the next big event for me. And that was the panel “How To Deal with the Truth Being Stranger than Fiction”

Panel: How to Deal with the Truth Being Stranger Than Fiction

So, I’ve had a fair number of questions about how this particular panel played out. Some folks got a lot out of it. Some didn’t. So, first of all, I’d like to give a little background on how this panel came to be.

While I was struggling to figure out if I should be on the Writing Staff or not, Justice3442 came up with the idea of submitting panels to EFNW, though it was rather close to the deadline. And while I eventually decided not to be on Staff, I realized I missed being part of panels. I love teaching and sharing my experiences to help those learn and grow (and try to avoid my mistakes). So, when Justice came by, I decided to throw my hat into the ring.

I wrote the synopsis of the panel and pitched it, though Justice is the one who submitted it to EFNW. Heartshine, Winston and Lovely joined as part of the EFNW Writing Staff without my knowledge. Not to say they weren’t welcome, I just didn’t know they would be there aside from a moderator, of course.

However, to accommodate for the length of the new TWI Talks, other writing panels were cut from 90 minutes to 60 minutes. I know that this panel suffered problems because of the short time (better than most) and numerous people agreed the LGBT panel suffered a similar fate.

Things got off fairly well, even though Justice sadly got stuck in Seattle and ended up running late.

Heartshine got us started off with introductions. And immediately made some comment about “not knowing why she was up there with people like us.” To which, I immediately asked the entire audience who had read Speak. I think about half the hands in the room went up. And all of us agreed to a violently blushing Heartshine that yes, she is as #horsefamous (or in her case, #batfamous) as the rest of us. And that she needs to deal with it.

Heartshine also did a great take on how both “Big T” and “Little t” traumas and how they impact us and can individually shape the creation of stories (Thank you, Cursori for reminding me of that).

Sadly, I don’t remember all the stories of everyone. I remember Lovely speaking about a former relationship, Winston talking about his time in the Navy on a submarine. Heart spoke about… a fear of canoes dealing with her father? I know that sounds funny, but the way she presented it didn’t make it seem quite so funny.

However, eventually, things went a little sideways. We ended up on a few tangents, that to me, didn’t feel like writing tips. It felt like we wandered a lot and that—combined with a couple of others things—bothered me. I found myself frustrated because I was worried we weren’t delivering on what the panel promised it would be and that the audience wasn’t getting as much as they could out of it.

I think what happened was a failure to communicate between the panelists. I think we all had different expectations going into the panel and it made things hard for some of us. A few of us just barreled on through, but I couldn't do that. Really, it was hard for me in particular.

While the topic may have been near and dear to my heart, I didn't let others know that. And it got extra rough for me, especially when I didn't keep track of our time myself, putting Heartshine in the horrible position of having to stop me as I was telling a short version of The Quiet War.

So yeah, this panel didn't go well for me, but here's what happened for those who were there. For one, only a select few saw anything negative from me. I was worried my reactions might cause problems for the other panelists and eventually potentially tank the panel (something I definitely did NOT want to do). More importantly, people still got stuff out of the panel. While I didn't want to force anyone to tell me what that was, I was happy to know that the panel, while difficult on a personal level, did succeed on a public level.

After the Stranger Than Fiction Panel

For me, the defining moment of the Stranger Than Fiction Panel came at the end. After all the rough parts I wasn't taking well, within seconds of the panel ending, I found myself surrounded by my friends. Mono, Cursori and... honestly more people than I can count. Mono practically leaped over the table to check on me. It's all a little blurry, but I remember being literally surrounded by a circle of friends, all there, checking on me, all wanting to see if I was okay. And while I eventually was... I realized something at that moment.

In that moment, I had never felt more loved in all my life. I still think about that moment and nearly burst into tears. That’s the reason I’m telling you about this difficult experience. I could skip it, but I need to let you know that this is why I'm here. This is why I’m in this fandom. Why I go to things like EFNW.

I am most at home when I am with you all. I am most loved with you all.

And I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

The Enchanticon Group Photo

I chatted with a lot of people after the panel and eventually found our way to the glassed-in section right next to the cafe. Loads of people were there, in fact, there were enough of the Enchanted Library folks that it was declared time for the GREAT ENCHANTICON GROUP SHOT.

In case you were wondering, Swan Song may have been a teeny-bit late (but damn, he came in with style in a black suit and a Rarity tie. Rarity would have approved and then some). Catcalls may have been made. I didn’t make them. I swear.

Pretty in Purple!

Fun fact: I’d had my Enchanticon shirt in my backpack the entire day, ready for this moment. It was beautiful. Just bam. I was definitely prepared. No matter what Illidan says. Screw that guy.

Aren’t the shirts fabulous? Seriously, who doesn’t love purple?

Panel: Writing LGBT Characters with LGBT Authors

Then, we all rushed off to the much-anticipated “Writing LGBT Characters with LGBT Identifying Authors.” (Okay, seriously, who came up all these super long names for panels?). Seriously, this one was a packed house. Huge amount of people. Every seat taken, walls, everything!

I sat next to Albi, while pretty much everyone in our group was in either in or on that panel, scattered throughout the room. It was great.

We had a heavy lineup too. Lovely Laughter, Cynewulf, Vivid Syntax, Rose Quill, Gara-The-Author (Kim), Heartshine and Fiaura the Tank Girl.

They opened up what they identified as (LGBT+ wise) and launched into how to effectively write the characters. Vivid only shilled his hardback book twice, despite his claims that he would do it constantly. I heard some interesting stories about what some folks might have been up to during this particular panel.

In addition, we also had to point out to Heart again that she was worthy of being up on that panel. She went scarlet at this, though she says she turned red because Rescue Sunstreak made this amazing facial expression at what someone else said, and she just lost it.

Now, you see, the biggest problem with a group like this is that they’re usually pretty damn funny. And sometimes, I’ll be laughing too hard to actually get down details on the tips and tricks they’re sharing. So, I’m going to share some of my fellow audience members thoughts.

RoMS - With regards to writing, that a character's sexuality is part of the character but shouldn't overtake their whole identity--stereotyping in fiction is easily done, hard to amend.

Cursori - The panel made me better understand how complicated writing LGBT characters and stories can be, due to the psychological weight and heft it has on both the authors and the readers self-acceptance and worldview.

In that how you approach and frame characters is really important.

As well as how you give them a role and agency in the world they inhabit.

Sadly though, we only had 60 minutes to discuss the topic. And it’s hard to do this sort of panel without more time or a super strict topic system (something I think would be a bad idea). So, they did the best they could with that limited timeframe and I think most people walked away with something great.

Relaxing With Mono

After this (or before this, I’m honestly not sure anymore), it was desperately time for a break. Mono and I ended up heading up to our room… we had another reason, but I can’t recall it at present. But we took the time just to relax and get away from the chaos and go-go-go of the con.

Mono holding up the commission turnipBerry did for her at the con!

We both needed some downtime. Tsitra joined us in this (though the poor guy got slammed with allergies partway through the day. Really brutal ones, too). But we got some time away from it all. That helped. It helped a lot.

Dinner with Adge & Company

After hanging with Mono and Tsitra, it was long past time for me to hook up with Albi and then to hook up with Adge, Deathscar and the rest of the SciSetDiaries group. We got a series of tables all set up in Seaports, the main restaurant of the hotel. We were all along the back side.

Fun fact: Adge and I have randomly chatted about the future of SSD many times and her plans. As I’m not as active in the SSD server as I’d like, I got to find out about many of the plans I’ve missed out on being too busy.

Tsitra and Jyki joined us a little to talk witchcraft, er, I mean, coding. Meh. Same thing.

I suspect they’re getting ready to hack the planet. Can’t prove it though.

Anyway, I was gonna spill all the secrets on the future of Adge’s brilliant series, oh wait, no I wasn’t. I will admit that I didn’t know Deathscar had such a hand in the behind-the-scenes machinations of Adge in SSD! This was news to me, since I tend to be asleep when Deathscar’s on, him being in freaking Singapore. I don’t even know what day it is there most of the time.

I have no idea what Albi said to make Adge give him that face.

What’s really cool right now is Adge is going into a new phase of her life, potentially moving. She’s scoring new jobs, getting great new opportunities, biting off WAY more than she can chew and the usual stuff that incredible people do when they’re young and amazing (and smol, I’m sure the smol-ness has something to do with it.)

It was great to actually get to sit down and talk to Sam Rose (of Motherly Scootaloo), even if we agreed there are several of his things I should never, ever, ever, ever read. Also, Deathscar is one of the sweetest guys I know (yes, I just used that word intentionally, it fits, sue me).

During dinner (and several other times), I also got to meet a few others I’d never met before (or simply don’t remember because I get overloaded at these things), folks like VerumTee, creator of Sparkling Shimmer, TheDiggityDog and one of his friends and finally one of Sam’s friends, Demous_Abyss.

And probably people I’m forgetting. Hehe, please don’t hate me.

Group Dinner, Part II

Adge’s group broke up a little bit, heading off to… I actually can’t remember now. Maybe back to their rooms to wind down… or play something, or I don’t remember! Gah! I can’t do everything!

I decided it was time to harass the rest of The Group(™). After seeing Mono and Albi… being Mono and Albi.

Now, time to get to the rest of “The Group(™).” Honestly, at this point, there isn’t even a point of separating the Nook, Jurists, EL groups. People are intermingling like crazy. And it’s perfect. Everyone is easily talking to one another, instant friends, just as I said above. It’s fantastic.

I don’t remember anything specific about tonight, save for getting another Yona. It was just fun. And that’s what really matters. And seeing Mono having so much passion about things when it gets super late (and she’s had a tad bit to drink).

However, it was sadly, Albi’s last day with us. He could only do Thursday and Saturday, plus a special thing on Monday. So he had to say goodbye to some folks, folks like Nat!

I helped.

TSSSF III - The Search For Crackships

For the record, no, I have no idea why I’m doing a Star Trek movie theme for the title of the TSSSF entries. Probably because I like the idea of a Cadence-themed TSSSF expansion where she gets pissed at Twi and fights her for the Crackship Crown.

...what? You know you want to see it!

After hanging out in Seaports until nearly 11:30 PM, it was time for another game of TSSSF. Sammi, in particular, was interested in playing, as well as Firimil. I was actually shocked at how many people we ended up getting for this game. Originally, Mono was going to play, but she decided she wasn’t up for it.

So, I’ve talked a little bit about my House Rules (well, Con Rules) for TSSSF. I have a rather crazy deck, so there are a lot of things that are almost impossible to get. I change around goals, I will usually replace goals I think might be too hard and I play with the winning number. There are a few other rules I need to modify (a few I learned the hard way).

There’s one other special rule. And that’s a very simple one: you need to tell a story. No matter what crazy ship you play, you need to tell a story and make it entertaining.

And by the way, “Author Edition,” which to date has only ever been played one-on-one between Mono and me, is where you need to tell a continuous story over the course of the entire game.

Why? Because it’s fun.

Anyway, we had a total of seven players for this session. Albi, Hap, Sammi, Corejo, Firimil and a walk-up player by the name of Dreadnought. After giving out the usual spiel about how the game was played, we got down to it.

About halfway through our game, none other than the famous NA Larson came in! Yup. NA Larson. NA. Heh. Anyway, I know NA, as we’ve chatted about card design plenty over the years. He’s actually one of the folks who works hard in playtesting these cards so you don’t end up with absurdly unbalanced cards (or absurdly unbalanced decks like mine).

In fact, he gave everyone free versions of the latest start card… and it couldn’t have fit better for us authors and editors!

And then he vanished, on his quest to create the Eternal Ship (or something like that).

I’m happy to report this is the very first game where I actually won a goal!

That being said, we did have some folks tap out as time stretched out. Normal games last a few hours and even with me playing with the goals, folks were tired! Understandable since such a long day.

However, a few very important things happened before the game was won!

First and foremost… we had a SunLight Double. As is right and proper in a game hosted by yours truly!

Now, let’s see that grid!

And finally, I’m happy to announce that Sammi won hands down, sweeping all of us with a full five points, destroying the rest of us soundly. Seriously. She was brutal. So congrats to her!

Also, for some reason, Albi and I got some pictures together that turned out great!

When Mono Holds Court

I came out to find where Mono had run off to… she was holding court once again with a combination of EL, Nowacking and Adge’s Group. Though this year, Mono’s Court was a hallway…

I remember just watching. The topic was pretty intense, so I’m not going to go into it here. All I really remember clearing is getting reintroduced to some people and having a height competition between Autumn Rush and Adge. And to my delight, as much as I adore the very smol Autumn, Adge is still the smolest!

Late Nights with Tsitra

The night ended with me hanging out in my room. I think tonight, Tsitra was the one who came back the latest. We both decompressed a little about the day because it was just such a whirlwind of events and time. Jeepers, so much stuff to process. He went to a ton of panels I didn’t get a chance to go to, so it was great to hear about them.

However, time did fly by and before we knew it, it was after three in the morning. So it was definitely time to head to bed. However, I tend to check FimFic randomly a fair amount before bed. And to my utter shock, Dreadnought, the very same guy who had played TSSSF with us that evening had become my 1,100th follower on FimFic!

And that’s it for Saturday! Jeez, what a day. So much we did that I can barely keep it all straight. This day more than any other I had to tap dozens of people to help me fill in the gaps. I’m actually fairly sure that “Relaxing with Mono” thing happened at a different point in the day, but that’s okay. It doesn’t actually matter that much for stuff like that.

What matters is that the first three days are now clear. We now only have Sunday and Monday left! So, I’ll see you next time for the grand finale of the con, but not of my EFNW!

Sharp Focus, or “Sharpie” for short, is the son of Front Page. A young pegasus colt who has yet to earn his cutie mark, Sharpie is too busy enjoying life to be overly concerned about his blank flank. He is a creative type, and very curious about the world. There are lots of possibilities available to this little colt. Maybe he’ll end up as a photographer, or perhaps a comic book artist. For now, Sharpie is happy to explore the world and make new discoveries! [Note: He actually earned his mark this year: a camera!]

I introduced Georg to TSSSF Saturday morning. We'll have to try to get him in on more games.

Only now do I really appreciate how little we crossed paths. No wonder you were so happy to... Whoops, spoilers. Still, fantastic to see how much support you had around you, especially after the stranger-than-fiction panel.

Technically, I came up with the seed Idea and pitched it to you in Discord as well as wrote the beginning being a quite a bit different in tone and the final sentence being a word-shopped version of the original. I did greatly enjoy the name you came up with.

That one would have done better with more time as we quickly ran up against Q&A. Everyone had stories to tell and EVERYONE on the panel spent more time recounting their stories then discussing how exactly it fit into which story, which, in everyone's defense, is somewhat how anecdotes work. Though there are times myself and other panelist made sure these where things that had, indeed, been explored through stories that they had worked on and published.

Its a funny photobomb you did so I don’t mind lol

The writing panels were definitely helpful and informative, despite going a bit off the rails at times. And I would give several major organs to have a recording of Aquaman's fanscript reading, that was easily as good as any episode from the last couple seasons.

(I can see my birkenstock-ed foot sticking out in one of the panel pictures. :derpytongue2: )

Every time I see a picture of myself I'm reminded why I don't like having them taken. Not enough to say 'don't include them' but yeesh...

More importantly, thank you for all the work you put into these blogs. And I have to say these over this because the sheer amount of work is too much for fimfiction in one go. That's... impressive. It's not being back there, but it's as close as we're going to get until next year.

Jyki and I were talking about a bot and how to fix/future plan for it. :)

Yeah, there's about 5 cons running at once in these things. I caught a few glimpses of you here and there, but we ran mostly in parallel it seems (by the photos at least).

Said it after the panel and I'll say it again here; you did excellently and presented clearly, and glad you got the love you merit afterwards. It was never an easy topic to broach for public purposes, and hats off to you for doing it.

I only wish I'd been more sociable for most of that day. Post Iron-Author, my brain just slumped for the rest of its waking hours. Not much fun.

5075873
Oh yes. Georg, you and I are definitely doing a game at EFNW 2020.

It's ironic. In previous years, I practically lived in the Writing Room. But this last year it was more about others. I kinda felt "my sector" of the writing room decided to go mobile this year!

...also, I'm totally missing the spoilers thing. What the hey are you talking about? You can even PM them to me if you'd like.

5075889
Seriously, that's the best photobomb OF MY ENTIRE LIFE.

5075908
That script was pretty damn fantastic. Yeah, I kinda want a fan animation of it, though likely that will never happen!

5075929
Remove the "Maybe" and you're perfect. ^^

5075931
You're beautiful. If you disagree, fite me irl.

More importantly, thank you for all the work you put into these blogs. And I have to say these over this because the sheer amount of work is too much for fimfiction in one go. That's... impressive. It's not being back there, but it's as close as we're going to get until next year.

...that means a ton to me. Really, it does. Enough that I can't even totally handle it. :raritycry:

5075985
A bot to take over the world you mean. :trixieshiftright:

"Introduced" as in "Flogged around the board like a rag doll"

Don't those mean the same thing? :pinkiehappy:

Yeah, there's about 5 cons running at once in these things. I caught a few glimpses of you here and there, but we ran mostly in parallel it seems (by the photos at least).

Funny, because I could barely keep up with the one! Ironically, one of my thoughts was "I need more pictures next year."

Said it after the panel and I'll say it again here; you did excellently and presented clearly, and glad you got the love you merit afterwards. It was never an easy topic to broach for public purposes, and hats off to you for doing it.

Thank you. It's gotten easier to talk about, but I surprised myself by talking about some aspects of that particular night (namely the aspect involving the authorities). Still, I came in looking to be transparent. Your words convinced me that I did just that, no matter what else happened.

I only wish I'd been more sociable for most of that day. Post Iron-Author, my brain just slumped for the rest of its waking hours. Not much fun.

I fully understand that. It's one of the reasons I've never done IA. That, and it's completely opposite my normal writing methodology. :twilightoops:

I'll just cosplay Marble if I do end up going. I'm super (flutter)shy...
