There will be a long pause for now. I have entered something of extreme financial problems and that means my internet will be no more in about 3 days. I'm afraid that means I will not be posting stories for a while. The good news is, this means that a lot of time will open up to me to get a better job and try and fit a writing schedule into it. Right now, there is a plan, but it is also questionable in its stability.
I don't know how long this lull will last, but I will try my very best to make it as brief as possible. Not only for my fans but also for the fact that asking me never to write again is like asking me never to speak again. I have never done this for the money, my commission prices are proof of that. However, the problem is that money is kind of a big deal in this realm and unfortunately that makes time very valuable. If I were filthy rich, I'd write commissions for donations to charities, however, this reality is often a very large disappointment.

Daily expenses have seriously gotten to the point where I have to decide between gas and the laundromat. But please, I am not starving, do not consider this a guilt trip. I have very good friends that are already helping me. If you have any doubts, just save your money, like I should have.
I have no problem releasing my stories for free, I love having readers. Hell, I didn't even expect to make it THIS far! Without FIMFiction, guess what, The Ranchtown series would have ended at 10 chapters. That was what it was supposed to end at in the first place! But then people kept ponying up their ponies and adding new and awesome ideas that kept building on everything I already laid out in the foundation. This happened as naturally as milk. This is why Ranchtown has continued to exist, because of yous guyses.
So, because of the fans on FIM, the fanon is fine. It's already up to over 80 chapters, (math, that's 8 times more than expected) and all of you get the credit for driving me on more, because FIMfiction is where it found its amassed fanbase. After that, it even started to rise in popularity on my http://www.furaffinity.net/user/calico64/ Furaffinity account. Now it's my top storyline of all time. Thank you all for that.
