If you hadn't encountered their stories here, Ceffyl Dwr had quite a talent for writing. I had not read enough of their stories but the ones I did read were fine works. From Here You Can See it All in particular was exceptionally moving, and I went back to it several times in spite of the tears it brought forth.
But sometime in the past few months Ceffyl Dwr's account was deleted, along with their stories. This is a saddening loss. I hope they are okay. I don't know what happened or why their account is gone, but if anyone knows them and has another way to get in touch I would appreciate any details, and if you could, please let them know that they are missed here and we hope they can return.
So that's what happened, he deleted his account? That's quite tragic, because I really liked his Pinkie + Trixie stories, even created an art for his fanfiction.
Damn it.
My favorite was "Embers", If you've read it. Let's mourn together

Yeah, it's quite a loss. I understand if someone wants to give up a craft or even leave a fandom, but when they've created such good things it's a shame to destroy them on the way out. :(
Hey there! I know this blog post is old, but I only recently learned that Ceffyl's account was gone when I was trying to look up old FimFic friends. He did some pre-reading for me on a slice-of-life comedy I started a few years ago.
It's sad that he's no longer on this site. I have no idea what happened to result in his account being deleted. Like you, I hope he's okay.
A small comfort is that SOME of his work was archived using the Wayback Machine. Not all of them, though. Time and Tide and Starlight Glimmer Does Not Want to Make Friends With Trixie! were not saved as far as I can tell, and I checked the snapshots from January 18th to March 19th of 2017 (
the latter being the last available snapshot before his account was apparently deleted.)Hope this helps!
EDIT: So I used the Wayback Machine again, and found that March 19th 2017 was simply the last time the internet archive scanned FimFiction for its records.

Sometimes, pony authors who stop to write ponyfics realize that neither their stories nor their readers really mattered to them.
Sometimes, pony authors also discover their egocentric potential and listen to its whispers when it tells them that their readers' feelings when they go and delete their stories don't matter and that it's only their very valuable "author rights" that matter.
Then they go and delete all their stories, with a good ol' taste of "Fuck you for years of support!" and make their readers wonder about exactly the same thing that the first sentence speaks about.
And that, little foals, is why the brony fandom needs archiving efforts without compromise and without asking for permission. Because the sad truth in the end is, that your favourite pony authors/creators never care as much about you and your reader rights as you think.
Never make the mistake to assume something will remain online. Always download everything you read, always archive every story online. It's the only way.
A reader's right to read is always more important than an author's right to delete.
