I think Twilight's best pony because I relate to her the best.

FlashLight Week 2019 · 5:46pm Jun 8th, 2019

Whooo-yeah! Ro and Angy are hosting a second year of FlashLight Week. Woohoo!

This year has been busier than ever for me since I’m finishing my second year of medical school, which means I’ve spent the last few months preparing for a huge test that could potentially either make or break my career. Because of this, I’ll only be able to contribute to three days out of eight this year. I had planned on contributing to only one day, but I managed to find time and inspiration for two additional stories. So, yay!

Speaking of medical school, with me entering the clinical portion of my training this year, I will have significantly less time to write, so I’ve decided to stop writing fanfiction until I graduate from medical school so that I can focus on my studies and other responsibilities. I think I might have time to read and comment on stories and post things in forums and the blog, but don’t expect a story from me until late 2021 or 2022 at the earliest.

It really is a shame too; I had so many ideas that I wanted to work into my series, namely Thorax’s backstory and the introduction of Pharynx and other characters. Sadly, those ideas may not see the light of day. Hopefully, the three stories that I publish in the coming week will make up for that, and I can close my series on a high note.

The prompts for the coming week are on this link: https://www.deviantart.com/the-flashlight-week/journal/FLASHLIGHT-WEEK-2019-LA-SEMANA-DEL-FLASHLIGHT-789392522. If you’re able to, please participate for at least one day. I’m looking forward to seeing what everybody brings to the table metaphorically speaking.

Wish I could do some, but I have zero idea what to write about.

Good luck with medical school. Too bad we won’t see a lot of stories from you for awhile but it will only be a few years.

Good luck in medical school. I'll miss your stories, but you have real life responsibilities. And as the old saying goes: "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility."

You can always jot the basic ideas you have down. And if there are authors you trust, you can share your ideas with them.
But I will miss your new stories but I am certain that after 2 years they will basks in the sun.
