Some reasons are obscure, like how Applejack is implied to be related to Pinkie (maybe) and she's just earnest enough to be Papyrus... Though I could just as easily replace her with Limestone, I suppose, though she's a bit grouchy for that bag of bones.

How about making Cozy Glow Flowey? They both are seemingly innocent on the outside, but evil and twisted on the inside.
