Well, panicked might be a bit strong, but I am wading into mildly terrifying territory here. See I'm actually going to be publishing something. Like, physically. Matter will exist containing my horsewords.

Now I need to determine how much matter. So, for those of you swinging by Bronycon, who'd be interested in getting a copy of Oversaturation? (Or, heck, those of you who aren't. I'm going to need to find a use for the things.)

Going to BronyCon... what price must I pay for these physical horsewords, which I enjoyed so greatly on my last readthrough?

My current plan is $10. Entirely subject to change.

I am all for it. Definitely hoping for a bronycon bookstore overflow shop as well.

I will be at Bronycon and would love to have a copy of your book.

Even if it was 20 I’d easily be able to get. I’m budgeting ahead like a rube nutjob responsible person.

Hopefully the forthcoming inventory survey will also help in this regard!

Oh. Right. That. Sorry, spent most of the day wrestling with a word processor and wanted to validate my efforts. :twilightsheepish:

Love the idea, but I'm pretty much an IRL hermit so I won't be attending Bronycon. I really enjoy your horsewords though!:pinkiehappy::yay::twilightsmile:

I'd be willing to pick up a copy.

Don't forget, you can sell copies through Lulu afterwards for poor slobs like me who can't make the con!

Hey, I think it's good to have as many data points as possible -- just wanted to make sure you remembered that'd be happening!

I'll be going to Bronycon. I'm unsure what books I'll be buying, but it probably won't be this. "Oversaturation" is one book on my stupid-long "Read It Later" list, and I don't have the emotional connection or enthusiasm to want to spend much money on it. What's the price tag we're looking at? Even if I don't care much about the story (yet), I'm happy to give money just to help support you. When you say "I'm going to need to find a use for the things," are you talking about getting rid extra copies?

Aw man, I am definitely a fan of your writing, but I just haven't had the chance to get into the continuity. :fluttershysad: I hope there are potential plans for a collection of other short stories down the line.

As with Horizon, I'm afraid I've not gotten to that spot on my "list of things I'd like to read" yet; said list is a bit, ah... long. Good luck with the book sales, though!

You can do it, FOME! I believe in you :raritystarry: "GLOMP"

I find myself on the list of would absolutely buy it but won't be a t bronycon

I'd get a copy, but I don't have a way to go to Bronycon.

And while I'm posting, I just wanted to note something I realized a couple days ago: the parallels between Tirek and Bolas are even more than the shape of their horns now that War of the Spark has happened: Both started absorbing power to become supremely powerful beings, only to be thwarted by a group of them working together and losing all the incredible strength they had accumulated, before finally being sealed away completely powerless in a special prison.

Though, unlike Cerberus, I doubt that Ugin would allow Bolas any mail.

At this point, all I can give is the fabulously unhelpful answer that it'll depend on what all is present in the bookstore and how much it all costs. Making like Pokemon and catching 'em all is probably not viable. And yet, given the bookstore being a thing, it's pretty much all I want to spend money on there. (And Lauren Faust autograph, because holy crap, she's gonna be there.)

Looking forward to this! (Also still attempting to get my own one off the ground.) :raritydespair:

FWIW, my unofficial headcount has the bookstore approaching 40 titles(!)
