Update Post! Stories, Conventions, and a way to give me money >:3c · 7:16am Jun 1st, 2019

Hey guys!

Looks like my last Spitfire x Soarin' fic bombed a little bit (sad horn noise); oh well, them's the ropes! I do, however, have a few brief updates for anyone who might be interested:

1: I finished a new comedy/semi-crack HiE fic that I'll be releasing at some point early this upcoming week (the only reason I haven't published it yet is because I'm waiting for that sweet, sweet 4 am Mon/Tues time block- it does wonders!). If you're into those sorts of stories when I happen to write them, keep an eye out!

2: Just wanted to drop an update on my con schedule for the rest of 2019. I'll be at Trotcon in July; it falls right on the time between my summer research block and the start of my M2 year, which is perfect timing. Ain't no party like a Trotcon party, after all. I submitted THREE panels (2 fanfic ones and something special), so if you'll be there I'd love to meet up!
I won't be at MLP-MSP but I bought a spirit badge, because Charlie Cons are the bomb.
Unfortunately, Bronycon is a nogo this year- it happens the first week of the new Medical School year (and even if it didn't, it's always the one that hits the wallet the hardest). So, I'll be missing the Last Bronycon (F's in chat), but I have no regrets; I've already been twice and checked off a bucket list item last year when FamousLastWords had me on his panel!
I also have every intention of being at Ciderfest in October and potentially being medstaff again, too. It's still a ways off so something horrible could happen that prevents me from going, but I'm really looking forward and hoping to be back.
2020 seems so far off, but depending on how my boards go and how my Microsoft stock performs in the interim, I might try to pull off a spring con I usually don't go to. And, of course, you'll see me at Whinny City.

3: I just created a BuyMeACoffee page if any of you want to support my writing! I toyed briefly with a charity patreon a few years ago but it fizzled out, so this is attempt number two. This totally isn't a 'need' thing; I am still suckling at the proverbial teat of my parents and the federal government (in the form of hundreds of thousands of dollars of crippling student loans) so I am blessed and happy. However, if you read something of mine that makes you chuckle and feel the need to help me fuel my pony addiction, feel free to toss a few bucks my way there (it's a one-time payment, so no commitment like with patreon!). I also have the link on my profile, and I'll be tagging it along with links to my discord and such in authors notes in new stories I release.

4: I have a ton of ideas about what I want to get around to writing next. Do I hate myself enough to sit down and finally give the world an Applejack Romance Choose-Your-Own-Adventure? Should I focus on more HiE? Do more Crackfics? What about poor DJ-Pon3? I haven't written about her in a long time...
