Update and Stuff (Ideas for the Future)

First off, for everyone who is wondering, while Ask Roseate Grimsbane is going slow, it is still going. However Roseate does need some more questions, so feel free to leave a comment and ask her some questions for the next chapter. There are a few sequels in the pipeline so don't panic when the story comes to an end.

Next, there is another project I thought I would discuss and see you thoughts on it.

As per usual, I always like to try to do something special for October in the Halloween season. This year, I was thinking of writing another multi-chaptered fic (though this time, not a comment driven story so it won't take as long). The concept being something like a cross between the Love Boat and Murder on the Orient Express (or something along those lines... think spooky mystery stuff).

So basically think this...

Much like my more recent stories it will be a 2nd person story, with the reader taking on a stallion who is one the ship to find love. As for their species in order to insure that they aren't confused with my other Reader Character, I have decided they will NOT be a unicorn, however whither they end up being an Earth Pony, Pegasus or Bat Pony (any of these three) will be left up to you guys. Feel free to vote with a comment (there is your comment driven story, are you happy now).

Not only that, but all the dates that the reader character will meet/interact with will all be monster mares.

So maybe it's more like this... (but without the annoying song at the end).

Needless to say, if I do end up writing this (we'll see considering that October is technically 5 months from now) this story might be a bit more suspenseful.

That sounds like an interesting mix, Love Boat and Murder on the Orient express.

Princess Cadence smiled when she saw the dead stallion lying next to the dinner table. She just loved a good murder mystery show. Even the fake blood looked good while it pooled around the fake dead stallion's head. I'll just take a quick sniff and see what the ratio of ketchup to syrup is, she thought. The stench of slowly clotting blood hit her nose. Her smile slid off of her face...

I gotta be honest, it seems like sometimes people are trying to do some kind of weird roleplay thing with some of the magic mirror interactions and it kind of bugs me. Nothing against RP, but there's a time and place for it.
