I am very pleased! The third chapter did much better than I had expected and even managed to get the story briefly featured!
I was so overjoyed that my productivity immediately took a nose dive into the concrete and died a painful and agonizing death. It happens sometimes. I may also, maybe, screamed like the little girl deep inside my soul. The little boy inside was content to just jump and do an enthusiastic Naruto run over the walls of my psyche.
But now that I'm back to my normal state of calm and not-quite-happy-but-not-quite-depressed I'll start the forth chap. After that I intend to write the next chap of my other story, Dragon Mail Service.
There was another thing I noticed, that I found quite amusing, simply because it's so obvious that I didn't noticed it: Nightmare Night is all about giving candy to appease Nightmare Moon. I hadn't even thought about it when I made Nightmare love candy! Now that the realization has come to me, I'm quite awestruck at my own accidental genius! Or lack of it, depending on your outlook on life. Mine is that, 'Independent of the amount of liquid, the glass makes for a surprisingly durable bludgeoning weapon if used at the right angle.'
