Do You PoGo? I Do. · 4:02pm May 20th, 2019
Now that I've got a decent phone, I've started playing Pokémon GO; I'm out of the house four days a week anyway, so it gives me something to do (even if it is a huge drain on both my battery and PAYG credit).
Pokémon has changed a lot since I was a kid; back in my day, there were only 151 of them. This game has three hundred to capture, so I have clearly been lacking heavily in the 'Keeping Up With The Times' department.
The game is quite fun; I caught a lot of Pokémon on my first day (today), and there are a lot of Gyms and PokéStops near me. The only issues I've had are the fact that the game keeps losing the GPS signal, and I really suck at throwing Poké Balls.
If you want to add me on the game, then 1787 7888 4393 is the magical number you need; just be sure to leave a comment telling me your nickname, so I don't deny your request. I will send out gifts as and when I find them, and will always prioritise sending gifts back to people who sent me one... but don't expect me to accept battle requests. As I said, a lot has changed, and I am very rusty when it comes to what type is strong/weak against another. I know the basics, like water being weak against electric, but that's pretty much it.
Anyway, that's all for now.
Stay awesome!
I wont get this game on the principle that it has repeatable costs up to double that of a class AA cartridge game.

Well, the game doesn't force you to spend money, so I think I'll keep playing it.

I apologise for the wrong tone I set, bit of tiredness from cold infection making sleep difficult over the weekend. I say the overall costing mechanics are not exactly preferable, given I have bought actual machines specifically to play games over teh years, and keep the trade chain possible.
Just puzzled as to why it needs so much processing power. Augmented reality, laying graphics over video, at basic is TV genlocking?
I still play and have added you
