To put this simply-- I had lost interest in Salvation from a writing standpoint-- also with several other stories in mind for both the NDSS universe as well as others, I had to start trimming the fat. As for the events of the story, consider them retconned. Is it lazy? Yes, but with more stories on the way as well as the final chapter to Sonata and I along with a Siren Bay sequel, things had to be done.
Consider Salvation deleted.
