For instance, did you know I can't fly? You're the first one I've told this. Nopony else knows I have this disability. I'm a full-blown cripple in that aspect. If I jumped from a cliff I wouldn't even be able to soar through the air. I'd just fall down and die. That's my physical limitation, and I'll never be able to surmount it. But that's okay because there are still many things that I can do.
You know what the tragic part would be? Having the capability to do something and not doing it because of the barriers you erect yourself. Now that's a real tragedy.
So yes, I'm different from birds in the flying aspect. They can fly and I can't. But that doesn't mean I can't get it on as birds can. I can be just as good as they are in that aspect because being able to fly has nothing to do with it.
Perhaps you're also unable to spread your wings. But that doesn't mean you can't spread your legs.
