I didn't know Moth as well as others did, but I had a couple of friendly chats with him through comments and PMs, and he even wrote a guest chapter for one of my stories. He seemed like a decent guy from the little bits I got to talk to him. I knew from his blog posts that he was going through some rough times, but I never would have expected this. His friend Zef can memorialize him better than I could.
RIP man. May you find peace in the great beyond.
