So two things.
1. The masses have spoken (and by that I mean one person voted on my poll), and they want me to continue the BattleTech spinoff (renamed to FiMTech) so that's what I'll do. I ordered the Legend of the Jade Phoenix trilogy and I'm gonna read the books as fast as I can before I start writing again, so hopefully that will enable me to make the clanners a bit more authentic in how they speak and act.
2. I'm going to rewrite / heavily edit parts of The Clan Civil War, especially in the early chapters. I decided I should read the first part of the story before I went on to the second, and I hadn't realized just how bad my writing was back when I started. There won't be any changes to the story line or anything like that. It's mostly just to make the story more pleasant to read and to tie up some loose ends, so it won't be necessary to re-read them if you don't want to. I'm going to write them all elsewhere so I can release all of the updated chapters at the same time. I'll post a blog after I do that.
