Compression (Chapter 80 of Long Haul is out!) · 8:00pm Apr 26th, 2019
Howdy there again, everyone! It's that time again, and you all know what that means! That's right, another new chapter of Long Haul is up for you all to read and enjoy. This one's a bit of a laid back chapter for the most part as I switch gears to get back into driving the story forward, as well as setting up some more character development for the next few coming chapters. Normally I wouldn't just lay things out like this so much, but as this is chapter 80 and I feel like I should be well far past all this by now, things are going to feel a bit compressed and faster paced as I fit things together. Mind you, I had an entire arc planned for the Spectrum Federation which has since been shrunk in scope a fair bit, but there's still plenty I left in. So fear not, there's a lot to look forward to as we move onwards! But, that comes with a bit of a catch to it...
You see, that moment I'd mentioned around December has finally arrived. In June, my roommate will be leaving, so I will be moving out of our apartment as well. For most of you, that must seem like nothing to worry about, but for me, I have five weeks to find somewhere new to live. And let me tell you, while I'm not giving up hope, the prospects... well they aren't good. Needless to say, I'll keep you all up to date on things with the next few chapters when I put them up. Worst case is that I move back in at my parent's place for a bit. And while their internet isn't at all good for doing any gaming, what I still can do, is write. So no need to worry about missing out on new chapters, as I'll still be putting those out every two weeks for the foreseeable future!
Anyway, that's nothing to worry about for now. What you all need to focus on, is reading this new chapter! I do hope you all enjoy it, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it, both the good and the bad. But for now, I've got weekend chores to do, so I'll leave this off here for now.
