Let’s be real, Yarn ruined my life.

It’s a app you can download that has amazing stories on it. They’re all in text form. Most of them sound pretty realistic...

One story I read was about this girl whose mom turned into a disciple of the devil. That was when I was 10.

It took 4 months before I could go into my mom’s room at night without having an internal panic attack.

I don’t know why, but I like to do things I’m not supposed to just to make my extremely overprotective parents mad. If you think I’m exaggerating, they won’t let me have friends over because they think that they’re the only parents in the U. S. that aren’t pedophiles.

So “rebelling” is really just doing things that most parents let their kids do for me. Like texting people I’ve known since 2nd grade.

Off topic, more on that later.

Anyway, I just like reading things meant for people older than me. I was always a pretty advanced reader. I used to read my parents books at bedtime. I was always reading things that were meant for people older than me.

So when I became a young teen, I started facing a problem.

The reading material that my parents approved of was getting boring. So I started reading scary and mature stories. I don’t really do that anymore though.

Basically, don’t read stories that will give you nightmares for months when you’re a 6th grader.

That’s all for tonight, sorry I didn’t have a travel diary. I wanted to have 48 hours of my life that I actually felt like a normal kid and not being recognized by every kid in your grade.

That’s all for tonight, peace out!

I’m going to go read some Yarn.

Reminds me of when i found r/nosleep on reddit... I usually don’t get scared easily but those freaked me out.

I’m going to go read some Yarn.

How do you read yarn?

Go on YouTube, search up Yarn stories, and find a stuffed animal.

Yes, but how do you read it, I don't see any words?

5047924
I don’t know how it works, I watch other people read them since I don’t have the app.

What app, I thought we were looking at yarn?

When I was 16 one of my classmates said she allowed her younger brother (about 8 or so) to watch I Know What You Did Last Summer.

He wouldn't go to sleep properly for months because he was afraid that the man would come out from under his bed.

Does that count ?
