Just your average british lad. I write things for a living. It’s the strangest living you’ll ever find, second only to my inability to take myself off of the grid.

Question Time #I've lost count at this point... · 10:00pm Apr 20th, 2019

It's not exactly 24 hours yet, but I'd say that we're pretty close to it now, so I might as well get a bit of a start on it while the starting's good. And don't worry, I'll answer any excess questions after this blog goes up.

First and foremost, we have ace_attourneyfan800, who says:

Have you ever heard of the cartoon show S.W.A.T Kats the Radical Squadron? It was a cartoon that used to air on cartoon network back in the early 1990s and even had re-airings on Boomerang for a long while up until Boomerang's infamous remodel. If not I highly recommend you see it if you can, it's quite the experience.

I have never seen S.W.A.T. Kats, the Radical Squadron. Namely, because I was a baby in 1997, and didn't really learn to appreciate TV and cartoons until the 2000s, when I was just starting to grow up. I might just give it a look, though, if you think it's really good. Also, I don't think I remember Boomerang's remodelling. I might need my memory jogged on that front...

Next, Jlargent says this:

Do you play Smash? And if so who do you main?

I have Smash Ultimate, yes. I've been enjoying it. If anything, I main, oddly enough either Mii Swordfighter or Shulk. Mii Swordfighter due to his mobility and lethality, and Shulk because the Monado Arts are still busted as heck when used correctly. Seriously, Buster and Smash are the EASIEST and fastest way to send someone flying, provided that you can get it right. On my off time, though, I also play as Bayonetta, because let's be honest, Bayonetta needs a break from having to fight Angels, Demons, the occasional Lumen Sage and Prophet, so to her, this is just a simple sparring match.

And also because I swear Nintendo need to make Jeanne an Echo Fighter at this point. I'd kill for you to have another Bayonetta vs Jeanne scenario, with Blood and Darkness as the stage music.

Next up on the list is RNBW, who says this:

Why don't you review Spring Breakdown?

Now, I saw Spring Breakdown, just for the record. And personally, I didn't think that it had anything of real substance to pick into. Whenever I find something that I want to review, I want to make sure that there's enough content to dig into, enough stuff to go on in a sense. I don't want to just present a hollow review of something that's hollow, because that doesn't make for a compelling blog at all unless I decide to make something up to go along with it. And, at this point, I think it's becoming clear that I need to start a career as a video maker, yet have none of the finest tools that can help me reach that level, unfortunately. But I will say that if you enjoyed Spring Breakdown, then good for you. More power to you. I'm not gonna convince you to change your opinion or whatever. Your words are your words.

What are your hopes for MLP Gen 5?

My hopes for MLP Gen 5 is that we have a fresh new start. I mean, Friendship is Magic had a long run, so I'm hoping that Gen 5 can have as equal a run, if not an acceptable one for how much it can deliver. Because, let's be honest, at this point, MLP Gen 4 has some flaws, and with this final season in the pipeline, if they can't fix every little issue and detail that's been going on, as well as the issues with their Equestria Girls world that they've also built, then they can at least try and rectify as much as they can, or at the very least, make it a bit more satisfying.

Especially considering that this show is starting to follow the anime Bleach, where there are too many characters to properly focus on, properly flesh out, and make them properly loveable outside of the main cast. Remember the Keybearers in Season 4? They've never been seen since I don't think aside from Coco Pommel. As well as that, there's also the issue of the Dazzlings and Shadow Five in Equestria Girls. The Dazzlings have all but vanished from the human world, and the Shadow Five, while admittedly did make a comeback still aren't as fleshed out, aren't really characters unless you count their brief interactions as the be all and end all of their characters. What I'm trying to say is that Gen 5 should stick with what it has and only introduce new characters and worlds when the time is right, instead of rush it out to show how all-encompassing and wonderful Friendship is. If it can do that, then I have high hopes for Gen 5.

And finally, we have Night--Mist, who replies as follows:

Between Spike, Scootaloo, or Sweetie Belle and Rarity, which set of parents would you like to see make an appearance for the final season, and not just as background characters?

Honestly, at this point, Twilight and Shining Armour are Spike's family.

Sweetie Belle and Rarity, I mean, their parents are fine and all, but I'm okay with not seeing them again, not because I hate them, but because those trips must be important to them and their lives.

And I know it's cliche, but I would like to see Scootaloo's aunts, because it's been confirmed by the entire fandom and the show that she's not an orphan.

And that, I believe, is all of the questions I received in the blog post before this one, so with that being said, if you have any questions that you didn't get in time, leave them in the comments section down below and I will answer them for you.

Boomerang's remodeling was, I think, back in 2016, 2015, 2014, somewhere along there, when they stopped airing their old cartoons like S.W.A.T Kats, Teen Titans, The Flinstones, The Jetsons, Yogi Bear, all those old classics and turned it into a channel specifically for reruns of current shows with only the occasional old cartoon with Tom and Jerry, the classic version, being the only old cartoon that reruns alongside the newer cartoons on the "new" Boomerang. Which is not only redundant, it's also nothing short of smearing the channel's name since Boomerang was MADE SPECIFICALLY to rerun the OLD cartoons where Cartoon Network itself ran the newer cartoons.

While I don't have Ultimate or a switch but I do have the 3ds version and I mainly like using Little Mac due to the fact I like cqc and especially when he's right a home in his own so stage of the boxing ring.

Damn. Missed the time to ask questions due to me being at a convention. Oh well.
