My Little Pony Season 9 News 04/19/2019

GOOD AFTERNOON, FIMFICTION FANATICS!!! This is the Dramamaster829; Critic, Actor, Writer, Motivational Speaker, and Occasional Singer, keeping you up to date with the latest news for the final season of MLP! You know I was reflecting on 'Slice of Life' just the other day and in twenty four hours, as the final season continues, we will soon bear witness to the show's 200th episode. Wow... 200 episodes, the show has definitely come a long way since the very first season and given how big the 100th episode was at the time one could easily say that the stakes are running high for our crew. Over the past few weeks, we've had some updates and news in regards to the production of this very episode and the story behind the development has been rather interesting at best.

Apparently this one episode alone has been in the discussion phase all the way back in the fall of 2017, nearly two years before this episode will finally see the light. The board in general (Among them the major cast members of the show itself) have been throwing together ideas as far as what the Mane Six (AND Spike) have done and yet 'wish' the characters could do that has yet to be seen by the public eye (Not sure if fan ideas count, but they do have imagination). While details surrounding the story have been mostly vague, what we 'do' know about this 200th episode is that initially it starts as a sibling rivalry between Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor (Though the extent of that rivalry remains unknown) but eventually it escalates with other members of the group getting involved. Some great and fun ideas (With emphasis on the 'funny') have been thrown together until it's all been narrowed down to the very best as a script went into development in hopes to incorporate these ideas into a cohesive narrative. While fans may have high hopes given the reception of the show's 100th episode, the hopes of the masses aim for an episode that is entirely unique as this milestone of an episode is to serve as a 'thank you' to the 'mane' cast who helped make this episode... No, this season... NO, the ENTIRE SERIES one of the biggest sensations of the modern era.

So as 'Twilight's Seven' gets set to air this Saturday morning, no doubt the fanbase has a ton of thoughts as to how this episode in general will turn out. What will be interesting to know is how this set of events focuses on the development between Twilight Sparkle and her older brother, Shining Armor. Ever since his initial appearance way back in Season 2, we've barely been able to know anything about a colt who seemingly came out of nowhere except that he was both 'Captain of the Guard' and the groom to Twilight's old foal-sitter, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza a.k.a. Cadence. And in the following episodes since the wedding (Which proved chaotic with the inclusion of Chrysalis and the Changelings, the latter of whom eventually became allies with the ponies), Shining Armor has since become a 'Prince' running his own kingdom with his new wife, eventually becoming a 'father' after Flurry Heart's birth, and every so often we get a few details as to what he's like when he's not the serious, devoted ruler/captain (Such as the part when he got sick during an airship ride or how he freaked out when his comic was burned to ashes). While we expect this episode to be heavy on humor and laughs, at the 'same time' I sincerely hope that enough heart was put to making this 200th episode as a possible favorite to the fans as much as possible and while it may be asking a 'slight' too much we hope there'll be enough moments that 'tug at the heart strings' so to speak.
