Alright so all split personalty jokes aside I think it goes without saying that I value friendship very deeply and am very envious of Sunset and the 6 perfect friends she was gifted with after all the horrible and fucked up things she did on screen and behind the scenes most likely but was not allowed to be shown cause KIDS SHOW.
However with the series of Friendship is Magic winding down to its final season now. We don't exactly know where things will go from here I wanna remain active in the community as a whole because this franchise really gave me something special. It gave me a true understanding of what it meant to be someone's friend, allowed me to think deeper on my relationships with friends and family and I try my hardest to follow the seven virtues that make up the magic of friendship and have even passed these teachings on to my 3 year old niece Serenity who's favorite pony's are Pinkie and Fluttershy respectively.
So with that said why am I making this post at 4 am in the morning? Well to be honest this one again a shout out for anyone who wishes to help me write and get better at writing but more than that? This is me just breaking down exactly what I need and what would be able to help me and things of that nature because I wanna attract people I can relate to, engage with, hold conversation with; things like that. I've always been rather introverted and anti-social for my own personal reasons and I am trying to break that bad habit one day at a time.
Having lost my job recently it has given me pause and has allowed me to think about things more clearly. So that said here is what I am looking for.
1.) An Editor: Someone who has the time and is willing to put in the effort to read whatever stories or ideas I outline to them and give me feedback so I can improve and I am totally open to them making edits to parts they feel work and don't work as I am someone open to change and compromise.
2.) An artist: I am not the drawing type, I can't edit on photoshop or anything like that. I am incredibly imaginative but can't bring the pictures to paper which is where a good artist is needed. For a lot of the covers of my stories I have a particular image in mind that helps me formulate the story out better so that better can feel more immersed in the story as a whole.
3.) A creative thinker: I need someone to bounce ideas off of. I need someone to tell me if I am being to much or not going far enough. I need someone to argue me, I need someone to help me scheme and craft and figure out what story beats go where cause I have a tendency to be all over the place sometimes.
4.) An engaging audience: And this is something I ask of those who already follow me or read my work; if you like the story and favorite it? Please please please leave a comment on something you liked. A favorite quote or moment, or even something you felt I could improve on. I can handle criticism even if it may hurt at times but it hurts more when people say nothing about work you put so much love and thought into for others to enjoy. Because I don't simply write for myself. I write stories for others to enjoy and to share or invoke a certain feeling in those reading.
So that is really about all. There are already those of you I am working with and to those people I am always grateful for your input and I hope to continue working with you on future projects. I wanna try and focus up all my projects so I can start finishing more stories.
