Just your average british lad. I write things for a living. It’s the strangest living you’ll ever find, second only to my inability to take myself off of the grid.

I wanna pick your brains on something... · 6:56pm Apr 18th, 2019

Take a look at this picture.

A picture of Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace, and Queen Bee, all chilling out together and being the squad that is. Otherwise known as Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino and Chloe from Miraculous Ladybug. Now, I've been discussing this in a group chat that I'm in and an interesting thought came over me. What would happen if these five were to form a real squad in the show and make it a permanent fixture?

These five have all gone out into battle before, on their own occasions and all as one, but even with the dynamic duo that is Ladybug and Cat Noir, let's face it, the attacks from Hawkmoth and his Akuma Villains are getting more and more intrusive into the secrets of the Miraculouses.

Sandboy uncovered the existence of other Kwamis.

Backwarder named the keeper of the box where said Kwamis exist inside.

And more recently, Oblivio, in the wake of his defeat, showed Hawkmoth that Ladybug and Cat Noir do in fact love each other, despite their erratic and haywire relationship.

Hawkmoth is a smart man. He WILL use these to his advantage. And if this plan were to work out, that he would find Master Fu, jeopardizing him and the Miraculouses as a whole, can we really only rely on two heroes to save the world? Or shall the chains finally be broken on the limit?

At this point, the team has shown that they can stand against the tide of Akumas with their own Miraculouses. Rena Rouge proving herself with the Sapotis; Carapace proving to Anansi that he can and will fight for what he believes in; and Queen Bee, longing for a purpose, overthrew the most tyrannical dictator an Akuma could muster. So it is entirely possible that Chloe, Alya, and Nino could be full-time wielders of the Miraculouses, but I want to know what you guys think of the scenario at hand.

Do you think that Ladybug and Cat Noir are fine as they are, or will the time come when Hawkmoth's attacks will scale up to the point where Fu and the box are at risk in his own hands and that the team has to be a full-time team?

Our very own version of the Avengers, or Teen Titans, or whatever francise you like better.

Hawkmoth, yes... He is a smart man, but even after Heroes Day, it's become quite clear he cannot hold his own in combat for very long. He functions better as a commander, the support role. Which makes sense, given what his powers were originally supposed to be used for. It was only Mayura that allowed him to escape that battle.

So, I suspect there may one day come a time where Hawkmoth realizes this, and knows he may have to find out a way to repair Duusu -The peacock Kwami- and his/her Miraculous. Yes, he can hold his own for a while or so as Robostus showed us, but against superior numbers who have been fighting more than he has, he's left in the dust.

It's really hard to say at this point. On one hand, a full team would be nice, but on the other hand as shown in Heroes Day each has a weakness that can be exploited, (Rena and Carapace with their love for each other and Queen Bee loving her family.) so that makes things much risker. Of course, the same can be said about Cat and Ladybug...

I would like to see them as a full-on team, mainly because I would like to see more of Rena Rouge, Carapace, and Queen Bee in action. But, I wouldn't mind if the original dynamic duo was kept as the main focus with some occasional appearances from the other three.
