[SPOILERS] Season 9 Trailer Mini Analysis: The Last Snippets · 9:27pm Apr 12th, 2019
I have already made one analysis of the Season 9 Trailer, but there are a few smaller moments seen in it that also offer room for speculation. There isn't much that can be extracted from them, so I put them all into the same entry.

Very vague screenshots showing Twilight and Spike flying to Canterlot, then flying away from it while Twilight wears her saddlebags and Spike holds a mailbag. Judging purely by the shared location, I think they are from the same episode. It's next to impossible to tell for which one, but we have one episode that will show us Canterlot confirmed and my guess is the screenshots are from this episode.
I think what we will see in this episode is that the librarian of the Canterlot Library really lost his/her job because Twilight didn't return that book and that Twilight tries to make it up to him/her by helping with all sorts of household stuff and errands, including delivering this bag to somepony. It might even have something to do with getting the librarian his/her job back.
Alternate theory: The mailbag is a hint on a Derpy Hooves episode (PLEASE LET IT BE THAT!).

Rave party in the Friendship School? Sign me up, I'll stay on the dancefloor for that until Celestia rises the sun!
I'm wondering why Spike is standing at the mixer console instead of Vinyl Scratch. He also wears an interesting costume, that gives me even more the feeling that some rave and electronic music stuff will be going on.
Remains only the question why Twilight approved of such a wild party going down at her school..... I go out on a limb and say it's probably too early for it that the third schoolyear is already over (then again, the first eight Season 8 episodes spanned over 9 months), so, maybe it's a party for someone? The decorations at the far back, above the DJ stage, resemble Starlight Glimmer's cutie mark, so maybe it's a party for her? Perhaps a birthday party?
It's hard to tell why this party is going to happen (we know of a pony dance happening from the synopsis of Episode 7, though, this episode sounds more like we will see preparations for this dance in it, rather than the dance itself), but it looks like a crazy and wild episode that I can't wait to see! 10 bits that Yona gets drunk.

Applebloom looks really happy there. 
And Applejack too. I was debating to include this, because almost the same can be seen on one of the thirteen teaser screenshots, which I will analyze later, but how could I resist such a bright, happy grin on the face of one of the best fillies?
We don't know many things that could make them that excited, so..... I'm assuming we are going to see another Sisterhooves Social? I hope that'll be the case, I would really like to see another one before Equestria might get pulled out from under us.
Also, the teaser screenshot of this episode on EQD labels it to be from Episode 10. I don't feel good about it that there is no Cutie Mark Crusaders episode before Episode 10. And even that will likely be centered on Applebloom alone, but not a trio episode.
They better don't mess up their screentime and episode count for the last season, or else I'll enter DHX' headquarters and flood them with neverending rivers of tears. I'm serious.

Two other, very vague screenshots. Originally, I thought these moments will be seen right at the beginning of the Opener, the bird flying to the friendship school looks like a typical moment seen at the beginning of an episode. But now I am thinking this will be seen at the beginning of "Uprooted", the next episode, purely because we know that it's a Student Six episode.
Sandbar, Gallus, Smolder, Ocellus and Silverstream are seen in a real hurry there, my guess is they'll be late to school. Yona is nowhere to be seen, I guess she was too slow to catch up with them. We've seen before that she isn't the fittest.

I think these show moments from Episode 7 "She's All Yak". What Fluttershy unrolls there looks a bit like it could have to do with a dress to wear for the pony dance that Sandbar will invite Yona to. Rarity's presence speaks for that, too.
The only thing confusing about it is that this is definitely not a roll of fabric, but a roll of paper with drawn lines and horseshoes on it. That makes it look more like a map of some sort. The horseshoes look like marks for something. Maybe some sort of treasure hunt or race will go down? If so, that's another episode I'm very excited for!

This is one of the more intriguing ones. Starswirl is seen lifting something out of a chest and up into the air, right in front of Canterlot Castle. The objects have holes in them, which makes them look like they're pieces of Chrysalis' hive. We already have Chrysalis confirmed for the season, but this looks like there could be a bigger spotlight specifically on her.
Another possibility is that these are remains of the Tree of Harmony. The objects definitely look like splinters of something and maybe that's how the pieces of the Tree of Harmony begin to look like a while after its destruction? Do the crystals of it become dull over time?
I'm leaning more towards the Tree of Harmony than Chrysalis' hive here, since we now know that it was indeed the Tree of Harmony that Starswirl and the other Pillars created. So there seems to be a connection.
There are also festive decorations nearby. And since Shining Armor came to Canterlot, there has to be something big going on. Maybe a ceremony or a celebration in honor of the Tree of Harmony?

This one leaves me conflicted. These are clearly walls inside Canterlot and Canterlot guards. And Shining Armor is there, so it could be from the same episode as the screenshot above. But it could also possibly be a screenshot from the Season 9 Finale. Are the guards of Canterlot gearing up to fight Grogar?
Either way, there seems to be some guard training or mission going on. Could it be an episode that is centered around the Canterlot guards? Top secret guard mission for the safety of Equestria? I'll be very hyped if that turns out to be the case!
And if this screenshot is from the same episode as the other one, maybe some guard inaugurations are going on, judging by the decorations.
Also, these female guards look cute. I wanna date them.

Rarity in a guard armor and the Canterlot Castle throne room is full of angry birds. Believe it or not, I have no idea what's going on there. I just included it because it looks crazy and awesome.

And here's the big one. And the one that leaves me concerned. What we see here was not part of the Season 9 Opener. I was sure it would be seen there, but it wasn't. Sombra's fake attack on the Crystal Empire didn't even last long enough to get anywhere near such massive destruction.
So, this is very likely from the Season 9 Finale. Unless, Grogar's plan will really stretch itself out across the entire season and things will go more and more south the more the season progresses and that's only the beginning. But either way, it looks like the Crystal Empire is going to be a major target of Grogar and his league.
And it's total destruction, there are black crystals everywhere and all the houses are completely ruined and collapsed. Only the Crystal Castle is still intact, standing in the middle of a bleak wasteland. This looks very bad, to put it mildly. I hope Flurry Heart will be okay in all this.
For the one with the roll of paper with the lines and horseshoes on it, it looks like a dance choreography. Maybe Sandbar and Yona dance to that choreography?

Also, the pieces that Starswirl is holding with Shining Armor could be parts of Chrysalis’ throne altered to only take away certain types of magic as a security protocol. This hints that this episode could be later in the season, when Grogar is gearing up for a huge assault when Equestria is vulnerable.

Very spot-on idea. It slipped me for a moment that Chrysalis' throne could suck up magic. I really should have rewatched older episodes more often instead of trusting my memory all the time.....
Starswirl taking pieces of her throne and keeping them in case they're useful one day would also fit him a lot.
And, different theory:
The pieces aren't altered and suck up all kinds of magic (well, minus his own magic, it seems), as usual, and Starswirl is spreading them across Canterlot because there is a special guard training happening during which the guards aren't allowed to use any magic, to train for a situation where their magic has been taken away by an enemy.
Okay, now I am really hyped for that episode!
Also, that sounds a lot like they're preparing themselves to fight Tirek, since they still remember what happened the last time he attacked.
