Hey Bronies and Brosophs, time for another monthly update from Starscribe. If you're looking at that calendar and feeling a little intimidated, maybe you know how I felt last month writing it all. Tons of news and stuff to get to, so let's get to the figures.
Scheduled Chapters: 27
Scheduled Words: ~86,000
First thing you might notice about the calendar is that Friendship Abroad will be reaching its end on the 22nd. You'll have to hang on until next month to see more about the story that will be taking its slot, unfortunately. Likewise, Synthesis will be ending very soon... the first week of next month, to be precise. No huge epilogue just as long as the entire story on this one, I wanted to tell a traditional story using an ordinary form-factor, so that's what I did.
So far as excitement for Fimfiction, Through the Aurora is making the transition to weekly, which means it will be coming either the first or second week of the month, depending on the cover. For those who aren't on my Patreon and haven't been reading it, Through the Aurora is a HiE story focusing on an arctic researcher turned hippogriff who gets stranded in an exceptionally unfriendly part of Equestria, surrounded by an ancient mystery and an conspiracy that seems to know far more about her than it should. It will update on Sundays.
In Patreon news, a new story: Second Sunset, will be releasing weekly in the Tuesday slot. This story follows Earth's Sunset Shimmer during the same period that Equestria's version of her is taking over Canterlot High. As it turns out, the two had more in common than they had alike, setting her on an adventure for power across Equestria... well, you'll just have to read it. The story will come to Fimfiction as soon as it's complete, sometime in the end of may.
Sunset's World got a real name: Hostile History. Same story, same schedule, but now I don't have to keep saying I don't know what I'm going to call it.
The Message in a Bottle print proof has arrived, and you can check out the specifics in my blog post on the subject. Indiegogo has allowed me to continue selling the book through a program called Indemand, which will remain open until I get a final number for the print.
This means those who missed out on the campaign will get another chance to join in, until the final order is made to the printer. I plan on giving that second order period only one weekbefore I get the order made, that way all of you who already bought the book can still get it ahead of schedule. If anyone is reading this and wants to get involved, you can visit before Sunday and order: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/message-in-a-bottle-print-run/x/20354232#/
Lastly, Voyage of the Equinox is moving towards its conclusion. At the average rate of update once every two days, I expect it to end sometime in May. If I finish the software development required for the next project, expect some big announcements then.
Days off on your posting schedule? How hard are they working you, Star?
Do I need to hire some form of relief agency to send international aid workers? (Probably mangling that quote)
That's pretty impressive that you can that many chapters during one month. I'm still struggling to get at least one published (maybe two) per month, so I admire you as a very talented writer!
