TheIdiot Regarding: Announcing 'Spectrum the Movie' · 1:23am Apr 2nd, 2019
After intensive legal processing last week, Hasbro Inc. announced it was making a theatrical adaptation of the FIMFiction story SPECTRUM for release in 202X. Here is what viewers can expect in the Hasbro-produced adaptation:
- A score and soundtrack composed by Daniel Ingram
- Blood, violence and gore to be cut down significantly.
- A very condensed storyline that leaves out most of the extended cast.
- Music numbers that can be hit or miss.
- Tirek, played by Justin Roiland, to have a change of heart and embrace Friendship at the 11th hour.
- The Princesses get written out of the story, thus leaving it up to the mane six and hardly anyone else.
- Plenty of merchandise of the characters that will probably not factor into the movie.
- And, there's no delicate way to say this, but the Spectrum Crew/Team have basically sold out and are only in it for a pay check. It was honestly either settle for this, or get brought to court for infringement on copyright and trademarks, and intellectual property violation.
Ha ha! Happy April fools day!
