    Been a while

    Bit of a long-winded update post. Sorry. That is my writing style, after all.

    So obviously I haven't been active in a hot minute. Two main reasons:

    1 - I wrote way too much way too fast and burned myself out, and as such need time to recharge (that happens a lot with me. My love for writing, among other hobbies, comes and goes).

    Chapter 13 of The War of Annihilation is basically just 5.7k words of dialogue. I can't help but think that's a bit much, but at the same time I don't think I could have made it much shorter while still fully preparing for the next (and final) chapter.     Haven't been feeling that writing bug lately

    I've had a bit on my mind the past week and it's kept me from writing anything. I'll try to get back to it at some point. I'm sitting on almost 20k words of a story that I need to proofread so I can submit it, but I just don't have the motivation to do it yet. Soon. Once that's done I'll get back to FiMTech.

I managed to get my laptop running(ish) again, so I can start writing. I've got Ubuntu running off of a thumb drive, and I'm actually really liking it so far. I'm considering installing it to my new drive when I get it so that I can actually use it properly. Only having 2GB of free storage bites.

I feel like writing a nice little one-shot story to celebrate (and also because it's April 1st and I've got a good idea for a joke themed fic). I'll probably do that after dinner.
