Background:

What is a Kiranian?
A Kiranian is a species originating from the Star, Kiran. A Kiranians life force comes from their Light,. A Star which contains them, their thoughts, memories and personality.  They are created from multiple Light fragments joined together and bathed in the glow of thousands of stars. Once the Light is fully charged and fused it is placed inside a rough form, typically made of metal. The new Light embeds itself into its new form and alters its shape to its choosing.
A Kiranian can shift its form whenever it wants, and it needs to shift small things subconsciously in order to move.  A “Shift Core” aids in fluidity of movement and altering its form forms.

Kiran and Valdis.
Kiran is the first Light as far as we know. He is the origin point of all of Kiranians. He spent his first millenia alone, wandering through space, learning from everything he saw. Until the day he was found by the first sentient life form he had ever met. This is where his life really began.  He made his first friend and was given a robotic body. It took a few test runs but finally he had his own. In one of the test runs, the form malfunctioned and exploded, damaging Kirans Light.  3 Shards were broken off. Which later would become 3 new lights of their own.

Not much is know about Valdis and how she came to be.  All we know is that at some point after the murder of Kirans first friend, they met each other and became very close friends. But were fated to be apart.

Chrona, Althea, and Makani
Chrona is one of Kirans 3 daughters. she is known as the Goddess of fire and the forge.  Often seen as a symbol of war especially on her planet. Her planet is very industrial and war-like. Strict and unbending.
Althea is the 2nd daughter. She is considered the Goddess of healing, growth and nature. She is a kind and resourceful leader. A mediator.
Makani is the 3rd. She is the Goddess of the skies, weather. She is a playful yet graceful leader. A bit unpredictable an unbalanced.

Lilith and Wincent
The children of Valdis. Her daughter Lilith and son Wincent. Again, not much is known about Valdis or her children. It is all very mysterious knowledge that few know.

The System of a thousand Lights
This is a very simple diagram of their planetary system.  The majority of all Kiranians live on one of these planets. Chrona (black and red), Makani (purple), Althea (green), and Kiran (white and blue).  The planet Kiran is a hugely populated metropolis. The planet itself even emanates light deep from its core, (the light of Kiran).

Chrona is a rocky, volcanic planet, orbited by its ore abundant moon Palladium. Both are a huge industrial resource to the system.
Makani is a gas planet with a carved out asteroid in the center.  The weather is quite unpredictable and is frequented by electricity storms. Despite the weather this planet is mainly used as a get-away, or vacation spot.
Althea is a planet thriving with plantlife and decorated with enchanting landscapes. A very Earth-like planet but the plants and creatures were all different and much larger than those found on earth.
