Another Honest, but Nice Update · 3:45pm Mar 20th, 2019

Eyyyyyyyyy!

I have a curl of hair draped over my eye as of writing this due in part to my job. But it a good job. That being said, it is a very exhausting one at times and this week is no exception; basically on Monday, I had to move 65 lbs crates off a conveyor what was several inches in, pull them out, and walk them over to a pallet; I have three more days until my two days off.

Physical labor can get to you. Once my body gets in this tense state, it wants me to just relieve myself by simply relaxing. The latter is not to say that my writing isn't relaxing. However, I want to be mindless from time to time and play some games on Steam. I am tired of the "sorry I have not written much" line. By now, I am glad to have readers who know and respect my time; I am blessed with that reality.

I think the best course of action would for me to give myself at least a half an hour of writing to at least give myself some respite on my surging subconsciousness. I realize how little time I do have now with my job. So I need to manage what free air I have to the fullest extent.

I work hard not for some sense of gratification. But because it makes me feel alive.

This is why I relate too much to Mineral Water than I want to admit.

I understand the feeling, Fero. I just got a new job to and while it’s by no means as physically draining as my previous occupation this new job is very mentally draining. :ajsleepy:

I hope your relaxation time is well spent!

It’s going well, but I’m still in training and haven’t learned everything the computer program they use has to offer. So I come home every day feeling drained from trying to learn all the basics super fast. :twilightsheepish:

I essentially look over small building blue prints on a program and simplify the drawing labels for the construction workers long before they see the measurements. It’s a mundane and tedious job, but I can possibly make a stable career out of it so I’m giving it my best shot. :scootangel:

And how about your job? Is it at least getting easier for you as time goes on?

5030703 It involves a lot of stacking boxes, crates, buckets, and baskets. I am learning a lot about the machines and how they work and would like to advance to a machine operator which involves a pay raise. The labor really does give me a good work out and the results I've been getting are very pleasing. In a matter of speaking, I consider it to be a work-out I get paid for. I'm also doing a before and after photos and watch my body bulking up over time.

Yes, heavy lifting will build that muscle real quick, my Uncle did that for years and though he doesn't lift like that any more he still has muscle for days. I can't build muscle, I only end up looking fat. :twilightoops: This popped into my head the moment I read your idea for before and after photos, which is a great thing to do so you can view the results over time.

And when you smile at how well toned your muscles get, you'll think of this. :derpytongue2:
